Between camps, vacations and warm weather activities, summer is a busy time of the year for many families.     Our last vacation was to the Wisconsin Dells last month! It was one of my most favorite childhood memories and now I am hoping to make it my children’s most favorite childhood memories!

    My last trip was to NY in July to visit my whole family. My GPS and phone stopped working half way along the way. I was just driving to nowhere for miles, it was scary, I stopped a million times trying to get one of them to work. My phone started working again so i was able to use it to navigate my way there. Thank God :)

    The last road trip we took was across 4 states to Atlanta, GA. Our girls loved The American Girl store and the aquarium. We also stopped at a cavern on the way home. Great memories.

    the last road trip we too was to help my daughter move to her new apartment in savannah…i must have made a dozen jif and jelly sandwiches for the road! the were all eaten by the kids and adults in the car and when we got to savannah…my daughter and her friends wanted to know why we didn’t save them any…so while they moved things i went to the kroger’s and bought jars of jif jelly and bread and i was the official pb&j maker!!!

    Our last trip was to Wisconsin in December to see my husband’s family and show off our new son! Sadly our next/last trip there for a wedding got cancelled in June as my mom passed away the week before! Hopefully we can find another time to go soon.

    My last real road trip was from So. MD to Michigan with an 18 mos old and myself newly expecting number two. Now I take the little guys to visit grammy in PA all the time.

    Our last trip was to Boston! Beautiful city but my sense of direction was terrible!!! The GPS on my cell phone was almost as bad as my sense of direction! A regular GPS would have been perfect for this trip!

    I live near Knoxville, TN. I have made so many road trips this last year it isn’t even funny. Most of them were to Southern Illinois and Vanderbilt in West Tennesee to take my Dad to doctors and chemo for his cancer. The last three road trips (all in two months and all to Illinois) were for funerals: my Dad, a very close friend, and my cousin. Next week I have a road trip I am looking forward to…a trip to the beach to relax and revive after this last year plus.
