    Last October I drove from Missouri to Ohio and back over the weekend to visit with my family and to see my greatnephew and greatniece for the first time. It was also the first road trip in my new car.

    Our last road trip was to Va Beach three days before Christmas to visit my nephew and his expectant wife before he deployed to the Middle East. Our travel plans changed unexpectedly and we jumped in the car with a moment’s notice and made the 13 hour drive to throw an impromptu baby shower, only to return after a day and a half to make it home for Christmas. Quite an adventure and a Christmas that none of us will ever forget!

    When I was 18, we drove 20 hours to Orlando and visited Epcot and several beaches in South Florida. I read an entire novel over the round trip. Had fun!
