I make Holiday Peanut Butter Pumpkin Doggie Cookies for my friends who have dogs!
•2 cups whole wheat or all-purpose flour (you may need a little more or less to alter to the consistency of sugar cookie dough)
•1 cup rolled oats (old-fashioned is best, but quick cooking is okay)
•2 eggs (to make vegan, use egg replacer)
•1 cup peanut butter
•2 cups canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
•2 Tablespoons chopped parsley
To alter the consistency use more flour or water a teaspoon at a time… to create the consistency of sugar cookie dough. You will roll these 1/4″ and use cut-outs… place on parchment paper and bake at 325 F.
Dogs love peanut butter and pumpkin is excellent for dogs’ digestion!
