We love peanut butter on a day-to-day basis, but when the holidays roll around, peanut butter doesn’t just spread between PB&Js. It becomes the star of several of our holiday baking traditions. Jif wants you to share what ways you incorporate peanut butter into your holiday baking and cooking in the Jif Holiday Spread Contest, which runs through January 17, 2011 for a chance to win a $10,000 kitchen makeover. Enter both savory and sweet dishes. Perhaps you have a killer Thai peanut sauce that you make for your annual New Year’s party, or maybe your peanut butter blossoms are so incredible that no other can compete.

    I use peanut butter in a pb/pb cup cookie recipe that my family loves. Also in a fudge recipe handed down through my mom’s family. Jif is my favorite pb!! We grew up on it and it’s the only pb I buy anymore.

    We love PB! How about a simple cream of peanut soup? Or what about no bake cookies? My personal favorite….smear pb between two vanilla wafers and then dip into melted chocolate! Yum – O!!!

    I make peanut butter and jelly sandwich cookies. Two peanut butter cookies with a layer of vanilla frosting mixed with peanut butter and a layer of jelly in between.
