    I have never seen a garage door opener with a key pad before. I’ve had my cats get cought in it closing and so i always keep an eye on it & don’t just drive away. I so dont want that happening again.

    I have a very old garage door opener and I’m always scared that it won’t open and I’ll be stuck with my Suburban in the garage and unable to get it out or that when coming home from work the door won’t work!

    My major concern for garage door safety is that of it closing on someone/something. I have 4 precious grandchildren and do not want anything happening to them! My furnace and plumbing, pressure tank, and water heater are in my garage. Forgetting to close the garage door in the winter would be disastrous. I, too, have had to turn around to double check that I remembered to close the garage door. What a fantastic Genie invention feature!
