I love my coffee to have a nice, bold flavor, and I go to great lengths to seek out that espresso-like cup, which often ends in disappointment. You see, there is often a fine line between bold and bitter. So it’s no surprise that Folgers has a line that is both bold and smooth, Black Silk, it had me interested.

As its name suggests, Black Silk has a full, robust flavor and hints of smokiness. Folgers says this smooth finish will even convince non-bold coffee drinkers to fall for a cup of dark roast and make it “The Best Park of Wakin’ Up.” Black Silk is available ground or in K-Cups for your Keurig Brewer.

    I want to try it because I’m an avid coffee drinker, & I’m always trying different kinds, but constantly being disappointed by bitter coffee. I’m pretty skeptical about Black Silk, so much so, that I probably won’t spend money to try it, but I reeeally want their claims to be true, and I really want to try it if it’s as good as they say.

    I follow you on FB and email. I would love to see if the taste is as good as they are saying it is. I love the bolder coffees, but hate when they turn out bitter.
