I love my coffee to have a nice, bold flavor, and I go to great lengths to seek out that espresso-like cup, which often ends in disappointment. You see, there is often a fine line between bold and bitter. So it’s no surprise that Folgers has a line that is both bold and smooth, Black Silk, it had me interested.

As its name suggests, Black Silk has a full, robust flavor and hints of smokiness. Folgers says this smooth finish will even convince non-bold coffee drinkers to fall for a cup of dark roast and make it “The Best Park of Wakin’ Up.” Black Silk is available ground or in K-Cups for your Keurig Brewer.

    I want a bold yet smooth cup of coffee every morning because of a few things. Right now, besides our son, we have someone staying with us and I get up, make breakfast and pack lunches for him and my son. I never get enough sleep and I am really tired. Then we walk 3 hilly miles every morning because we have to for our health-hubby has had heart attacks and I have RA, so I NEED strong yummy smooth coffee! Love it, too!

    I don’t personally drink coffee but my husband does. He is always aware when he misses his morning dose…he gets headaches. I think that’s a sign of addiction ;)
