I love my coffee to have a nice, bold flavor, and I go to great lengths to seek out that espresso-like cup, which often ends in disappointment. You see, there is often a fine line between bold and bitter. So it’s no surprise that Folgers has a line that is both bold and smooth, Black Silk, it had me interested.

As its name suggests, Black Silk has a full, robust flavor and hints of smokiness. Folgers says this smooth finish will even convince non-bold coffee drinkers to fall for a cup of dark roast and make it “The Best Park of Wakin’ Up.” Black Silk is available ground or in K-Cups for your Keurig Brewer.

    I want to have a nice BOLD kick of caffeine in the AM because chemistry doesnt sleep. im pretty sure caffeine makes the chemistry grad school world go round!

    Simply put, because I love it. That’s all. I just love it. It’s my one real vice that I have never been willing to give up. :)
