My children and I recently started traveling in our new travel trailer, with my husband for his job. We didn’t have a vacuum because at our house the floors are ceramic tile. I just bought a canister vacuum, but I’m about to take it back. It’s too big and clunky for a travel trailer. I don’t know what I’ll get in place of it because everything that I’ve seen is too big or doesn’t have good suction.

I already have you on fb and in my email. I currently use a Rainbow……cant tell you what year it is from……very old school… add water and then sweep and then pull all the nasty stuff out of the dirty water….how fun! Not! Need a dyson!

I use the Eureka Boss. It worked fine at first, but now, I can only vacuum 1 room at a time before it shuts off. Then I have to wait about 30 minutes until I can start again. Not fun!

We have the cheapest vacuum imaginable, a little Dirt Devil that I got on Christmas special at Target for $40. It is horrible! It doesn’t pick up any residue, leaves the carpet looking just as it was before I started vacuuming and we have been needing a new one badly, but haven’t been able to pick one up. We could really use this vacuum!

I use a big heavy old Kirby, it is SO inconvenient for stairs and edging, I have carpet in EVERY room (I hate that there is carpet in my kitchen and bathrooms). Everytime I see one of the dyson stick vacs I sigh and wish I could afford one.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
