Win-It Wednesday: DXG Luxe 1080p Ultra Slim Camcorder

October 5, 2011 by Deal Seeking Mom

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday, with 24-hour giveaways just for you!

There is just something so special about recording all of your families precious memories and traditions to watch in years to come. And with the holiday season fast approaching, now is an excellent time to invest in a quality camcorder to capture your memories this year!

The DXG Luxe 1080p Slim HD Camcorder combines HD technology and style in one device. It features a classic design that is inspired by the latest trends in fashion and will complement anyone’s taste and personal style.

This camcorder records real 1080p high definition video and captures still pictures up to 12 megapixels. It also boasts a 3″ touchscreen display and an HDMI interface so it can easily be connected to your HDTV. This camcorder comes with everything you need to start recording your precious memories right away.

Although I really, really love the Violet Riviera color, I chose to try the Red Riviera shade knowing that my hubby will likely use it at some point and he does not share my love of all things purple. I have to say there’s a lot of value packed into this tiny camcorder! Smaller than my iPhone, it shoots both high quality HD video and digital photos, switching between modes easily — a must for moms trying capture those little moments we don’t want to forget. It comes complete with its own stylish matching carrying case, so you can toss it in your purse on the go without worries.

The DXG Luxe was ready to go right out of the box, and comes with software that allows you to customize your videos and create photo books directly. The only additional item I might recommend is an SD card for the digital camera mode, and you can purchases these pretty inexpensively these days.

Today, one lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will receive a DXG Luxe 1080p Ultra Slim Camcorder.

To enter, tell me what memories you would most like to record.

I would like to record memories of the newest member of our family, Natalie. She is 3 months as of yesterday(that’s right a 4th of July baby) and by Christmas she will be tons of fun. And on top of that with her 3 cousins all born this year as well – it will be quite a show during the holidays. This would be perfect since our 10 y/o camcorder just bit the dust over the summer.

Since my very young daughter is disabled , every milestone that she hits makes us so so happy and honestly makes us cry! I would love to be able to record these so that when she’s older we can watch them together and show her how much of a determined , brave and strong little girl she was , and if she has any doubts in her mind these tapes will quickly be able to prove them wrong , and show her that despite her disabling condition she’s just as strong as the next person and can accomplish any dream she has just as well as the next person! Thank you so much for the chance!

I play Ultimate Frisbee with the youth group kids at my church each week. It would be great to record some of the great plays that are made as well as a lot of the silliness that goes on each week.
Thanks for the chance to win!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
