This weekend we are celebrating mine and my stepfathers birhtday on sunday night. I love having a birthday on Halloween. Not only are we celebrating our birthdays, we are taking my 3 1/2yr old son and our 3 month old son out trick or treating! My oldest son is so excited he has been walking around saying “Im going to be a hobo! Happy Halloween”. :) Gotta love being a mommy and having a birthday on a holiday!

How are we spending Halloween this weekend? Well, we are going to be painting and decorating our pumpkin’s with our 2 year old daughter Breanna and 7 day old son Vincent!!! We are also going to bake and decorate Halloween cookie’s, as well as bake yummy pumpkin seed’s! Then we are going to a Halloween party for my daughter the day before Halloween! On Halloween, we are going to dress up my 2 year old daughter Breanna in a “Pirate Princess” costume, and take her trick or treating =)

My husband and children will be taking the kiddos to the neighborhood trick or treating event friday. Saturday my family is hosting a children’s halloween party w/ fun games and craft for the mommy and me group I organize and Sunday we are taking the kiddos trick or treating in grandmas neighborhood after having a screamtastic dinner of frightful foods.

My family and I are keeping our Sabbath day holly so we will be spending our Halloween on Saturday this year. Our church is having a huge scary room scavenger hunt and then after wards we get to trunk or treat from our safe church members trunks. Afterward our family is heading home popping some popcorn and playing some board games and having a movie night. I like to keep it safe but still allow them fun! What better way to celebrate than with close friends and family.
