It makes me giggle to think about the kinds of things we get excited over once we hit a certain age. I mean stand mixers, label makers and pressure washers certainly would not have ever crossed my mind about 10 years ago, but new gadgets can make my day now!

This Dirt Devil PressureFlex 1600 certainly made my husband’s day. He’s used it for countless tasks so far — cleaning the siding on our house, hosing off the sidewalk after mowing the grass, and washing the cars to name a few.

The Dirt Devil PressureFlex 1600 is perfect for outdoor projects with 1600 PSI and an easy-to-maneuver base. A rotary on/off switch makes control a cinch, and the detergent bottle, spray gun with adjustable pattern varying from narrow to wide spray makes it easy to remove tough stains.

I asked him what his favorite features are, and he cited the portability of the unit and the ability to control the pressure as key. He can easily move it from task to task — the 35-foot cord gives it plenty of reach — and the pressure control allows him to wash the car with little pressure and then turn it up to get those rims sparkling!

Up next? He’ll be tackling our deck with the Dirt Devil PressureFlex 1600 to get it ready for a new coat of stain and hosing down our kitchen chairs to remove all of those sticky dots from the countless glasses of milk my kiddos have spilled.

    I would pressure wash the siding on the N-E side of my house first. The humidity here in Virginia is UNBELIEVABLE from Spring through Fall and mold grows on this siding because it gets wet from the am dew and doesn’t dry out for a long time because of the humidity and because there is a huge tree that shades that part of the house in the morning.

    What wouldn’t we use it for? We have some vinyl siding on our house, the sidewalk, driveway, outdoor toys, and cars just to name a few.

    Oh how I could use this prize! We had flooding rains this year and I have green slime from the heavy rain that goes up on the sides of my house. I have tried scrubbing it by hand and it’s so much work, my arm about fell off just from doing a 2 foot section. I would love to win this prize to take care of that.

    my husband would love to have one of these seeing as we are building a house right now we sure could use one and our daughters outside toys could def. use a good power washing seeing as they were outside all winter and now are all dirty =)
