Win-It Wednesday: Dirt Devil PressureFlex 1600 (3 Winners!)

June 8, 2011 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday, with 24-hour giveaways just for you!

It makes me giggle to think about the kinds of things we get excited over once we hit a certain age. I mean stand mixers, label makers and pressure washers certainly would not have ever crossed my mind about 10 years ago, but new gadgets can make my day now!

This Dirt Devil PressureFlex 1600 certainly made my husband’s day. He’s used it for countless tasks so far — cleaning the siding on our house, hosing off the sidewalk after mowing the grass, and washing the cars to name a few.

The Dirt Devil PressureFlex 1600 is perfect for outdoor projects with 1600 PSI and an easy-to-maneuver base. A rotary on/off switch makes control a cinch, and the detergent bottle, spray gun with adjustable pattern varying from narrow to wide spray makes it easy to remove tough stains.

I asked him what his favorite features are, and he cited the portability of the unit and the ability to control the pressure as key. He can easily move it from task to task — the 35-foot cord gives it plenty of reach — and the pressure control allows him to wash the car with little pressure and then turn it up to get those rims sparkling!

Up next? He’ll be tackling our deck with the Dirt Devil PressureFlex 1600 to get it ready for a new coat of stain and hosing down our kitchen chairs to remove all of those sticky dots from the countless glasses of milk my kiddos have spilled.

Three lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a Dirt Devil PressureFlex 1600!

To enter, tell me what around your house most needs a pressure washer. Do you have filthy siding that needs to be blasted? Is there a creative project you need the pressure washer’s help with; perhaps you purchased apple crates to use as shelves and need them cleaned before they occupy the interior of your home?

+++++++++++++++

Every reader has four methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, three, or four for up to a total of 4 entries!!!

    Our driveway has oil stains thanks to the thrifty driving of a 1999 Honda Civic with almost 300,000 miles on it. My husband keeps replacing things to keep it running (it’s his paid for commuter car) until we pay off our minivan and can save to buy him something more reliable (I would say better, but a car with almost 300K miles that still runs is pretty good! LOL!) My hubby would be VERY happy to at least make our driveway look a little better

    I’d use it on our pool and patio area. Collects a lot of dirt due to our patio garden sharing the same space.

    My husband is very handy around the house and frugal to boot! He has wanted a pressure washer so that he can better clean the guttering and shutters as well as wash the cars, clean his tools, and clean the lawnmower each week. He never buys things for himself and always puts the rest of the family before himself. I would LOVE for him to win this!
