I don’t keep a coin jar. I usually try to buy things with exact change, when possible.

We have an old water jug that my husband has been saving pennies in since before we got married 23 years ago, and it is not even half full! It is huge. We won’t count it until it gets it filled and then decide what to use it for.

I don’t, every time I get change I divide it into 2 piles and give one to each of my daughters for their little piggy banks. We use that money so they can buy what they have been wanting or if we are going to Disney, then they use it to buy something there.

I keep a coin jar on my countertop–the kids usually take the quarters and leave mom with the rest :)

I don’t keep a coin jar, but I have a small dish that I occassionally drop pennies on. It is so few and far between I don’t really have enough to do anything with. Maybe pay some tax on a soda.

I use to have a coin jar and I’ve used Coinstar! But, I hardly ever use cash anymore, so I hardly have a wallet full of coins!

I keep a coin jar on our counter. We drop our change in it every day. We take it and drop it in the Coinstar at our grocery store about every two months! Love it!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...
