Burger King has teamed up with Sony Pictures Animation for the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs movie, which is currently in theaters. As part of the promotion, they are supporting Feeding America by promoting awareness of Feeding America’s childhood hunger and empowerment in kids initiatives.
Within seven days of launching the new Burger King kids’ site ClubBK.com to get kids rallied behind Feeding America, kids have donated more than one million “Crowns” earned through a movie-themed online game to support the cause! On the site, they can also access more information about the charity and get tips on how to support local food banks.
As the weather turns cooler, I know we’re looking for more indoor activities to enjoy as a family. While going to the movies isn’t something we spend money on regularly, it is a fun treat that we all enjoy. Luckily, we can still treat the kids occasionally using the coupons from our Entertainment Book. Plus there are a ton of family-geared movies soon to be released, including Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs!
This week, one lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a prize package that includes:
- $20 BK Crown Card to grab a bite to eat before or after the movie
- $40 movie gift card to see the film
- Full set of Club BK Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs kids toys
- Club BK’s Adventures newsletter
- Original Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs book
