Burger King has teamed up with Sony Pictures Animation for the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs movie, which is currently in theaters. As part of the promotion, they are supporting Feeding America by promoting awareness of Feeding America’s childhood hunger and empowerment in kids initiatives.

Within seven days of launching the new Burger King kids’ site ClubBK.com to get kids rallied behind Feeding America, kids have donated more than one million “Crowns” earned through a movie-themed online game to support the cause! On the site, they can also access more information about the charity and get tips on how to support local food banks.

As the weather turns cooler, I know we’re looking for more indoor activities to enjoy as a family. While going to the movies isn’t something we spend money on regularly, it is a fun treat that we all enjoy. Luckily, we can still treat the kids occasionally using the coupons from our Entertainment Book. Plus there are a ton of family-geared movies soon to be released, including Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs!

    Fireproof was a really good book…one where I have watched the movie recently. I also love watching all the made for tv movies of Mary Higgins Clark books.

    The Princess Bride is my favorite movie based on a book. It’s a rare movie/book combination where the two not only stand on their own well but are equally as good.

    My favorite movie from a book is “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape.” Partly because I love the book and partly because I love Johnny Depp. :)

    I haven’t seen it yet and it’s not out yet (I don’t think) but I’m really looking forward to seeing “Where the Wild Things Are”! I loved that book as a kid and I loved reading it to my kids!
