To participate, simply pick up a Subway card, load it with funds, link it to your school and use it to pay for your Subway meals.
Teachers can also sign up for a Get Fit for the Fun of It kit from SubwayKids.com as a way to help their students get and stay fit!
One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a $100 Subway gift card. Link the card to your favorite school and begin earning cash rewards for the school with every purchase on your gift card!

We plant flowers in little cups and watch them grow. Then we give them to the teachers with a poem about teaching and blooming.

Take your child to the December Home Depot Kids Workshop on the first Saturday of December. They will be making a little wagon which can be painted red or decorated in any way they want. It will be a great decorative festive gift for their teacher and best of all it is completely free! That’s what I call within a budget.

I’ve found that teachers love and appreciate homemade treats the best!

Saying “Thank-you” and “You made a difference in my life”. Those are some of the best gifts a teacher can get.

Thanks for the giveaway! I always make something for the teachers. Last year I made a pack of 15 Thank you cards and envelopes for each teacher and tied them up with a satin ribbon. The teachers commented on how is was so nice to have the cards on hand for thank yous during the holiday season.

I buy christmas coffee mugs the day after christmas. Then the next year I fill them up with candy bought with coupons and wrap them. Makes a great present when you have several teachers to buy for.

I love Subway!
My favorite gift idea for teachers: Buy a nice mug. Pick out a stainless spoon (I have some from old sets). Dip the spoon in melted chocolate to coat well (bowl end only). Wrap the end of the spoon in pretty colored cellophane and secure with a ribbon. Put it handle down in the mug. Put in a baggie of marshmallows and a package of hot cocoa mix. Very pretty and festive!

Back when I used to have only one (or two or three) teacher(s), I would buy them either a candle set or a sort of show piece that I reminded me of them. Giving gifts to teachers was quite fun!
Victoria
I like your site. Thank you so much!

I gave (pending on what grade my daughter was in) gifts of kleenex, handwash without water, sanitizing wipes, some packs of construction paper, glue, notebook paper, etc… since I got most of those things either with coupons or end of season and always, always gave a gift card to the teachers favorite place wheather (sp) it be a coffee, doughnut or eating place to let them know how much they were appreciated. mLove your blogs and what there is to get on sale and where the coupons are. Thank you
Deb
