Walmart: Kids’ Boxed Pajamas Clearanced For $1

March 6, 2011 by Deal Seeking Mom 10 Comments

Several readers have reported finding these cute boxed children’s pajamas marked down to $1 at Walmart! Now is a great time to stock up for next winter — and you can’t beat this price.

I never encourage making a special trip just to find clearance items since it can be hit or miss, but if you’re out and about or planning to take advantage of some of these other Walmart deals, be sure to check it out!

Thanks, Penny Pinching Diva!

I found these for $1-3 right after Christmas, but I was at various locations and each had different prices.

I just happened to be there on Friday when they put out a bunch. All of the PJS were gone, but I got some jackets for the boys, some shirts for me, and some shoes for only $2 each.

Be careful when buying these – I bought a pair when they were $5 and they run VERY small. I got my daughter (who is a size 4) a size 5 and it shrunk so much after I washed them I had to give them away.

These are boxed just like the Old Navy type PJ’s and fit similiarly. LIke a PP said, all these type PJ’s run small so make sure to buy a size up. I have found with this walmart brand that they do fit a little snugger than the ON brand and shrink a little more, so buy 2 sizes up if you need to. I doubt they will have my son’s size for next winter as I would probably need a 5T. But a great deal.
Would be a great deal to buy as large as possible and save for CHristmas for donating to homeless shelters.

I went today and some were $5 and others $3. I noticed the $3 ones were all in a shopping cart like they had just pulled them from a shelf and was getting ready to mark them down. So I asked a worker and told her I had read online that some WalMarts are already marking them down to $1 each and if these would be marked down soon also. She said she would sell me any boxed set I wanted for $1 each!! So I stocked up, bought several in bigger sizes since I know these run very small. Thanks for the heads up and now I know it never hurts to ask because you just may get the same deal even if it’s not marked down yet.

If you snag these for a $1, you could donate them to the Pajama Program as well. https://www.pajamaprogram.org/
