For anyone who does a fair amount of baking with yeast (about once a week or so), if you have a GFS you can get yeast cheap there, I think it was under $3 for a pound of yeast. I keep a small jarful in the fridge for use, and keep the rest in the freezer until it is time to refill the jar. It keeps for over a year this way!
