Walmart Deals New 6/4/09

June 4, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 27 Comments

Wal-Mart.com USA, LLC

Here are the newest deals to be found at Walmart! For the full list of current deals check out the Walmart Deals page!

Some tips for shopping Walmart:

  • Walmart’s prices vary by region, even by store within the same area, but generally they are reasonably close to the listed price.
  • Walmart does accept Internet printable coupons. You may find it helpful to print out and carry a copy of the Walmart corporate coupon policy with you.
  • Walmart will price match competitor’s ads on like items.

New to couponing? Read up on what all of these abbreviations mean first in my quick reference guide.

My Wal-Mart does not accept internet coupons. They have signs up all over the place that state that. I guess individual Wal-Marts don’t have to follow the corporate coupon policy?

I know my Walmart is having $0.50 jello and with the $1/3 jello coupon that was printable last week you can get 6 jello packages for $1 right now. I don’t know if all Walmarts have the same ads, but that price was in my ad that I got in the mail.

Alitza, Walmart’s corporate coupon policy is to accept Internet printable coupons, and individual stores are not allowed to override that. I suggest that you either call or email customer service to let them know about your experience.

Rhonda, sometimes you just need to try a different broswer. For example, if you’re trying to print in Internet Explorer, sometimes switching to Firefox will allow you to print the coupon and vice versa.

My walmart had Kelloggs Raisin Bran Crunch and Regular Raisin Bran on sale for $2. Used (2) $1.00/1 printable coupons to get these for $1 each. Also found 10 pack of pens in the card/stationary aisle for .25.

I’ve been around and around my Walmart re: internet coupons. Even after multiple emails to Walmart corporate and conversations with the store manager regarding the corporate policy, they still won’t accept them. I am so done with Walmart – I don’t care how good the deals are!

WalMart sucks. They wouldn’t take internet coupons for me, but I started going to the young cashiers and they never say anything to me about them, they take them all. But the older people there all seem to want to make me mad by saying that they “can’t” accept IP’s b/c of fraud.

Anyone who has problems with ANY WalMart should contact corporate headquarters personally. They have a simple “contact us” page on WalMart.com. Power lies with the consumer, let them know—every time, every store, every name of every manager/employee that treats you rudely or refuses to honor the corporate policy. It isn’t corporate policy if it’s arbitrarily followed. WalMart doesn’t strike me as the type of corporation that allows much deviation from corporate dictates.

I’m in Texas and one of the stores close to me would not price match anything that was 7 miles from their store. I had been going there for years and they would price match anyone. Now this seems to have change from one thing to another. I called Walmart and they say it was up to the manager. New rules all the time. Annie

My Walmart in MA had Starbucks coffee on sale for $6.30. I used the printable $1.50 coupon, which made it $4.80/bag…some very inexpensive Starbucks coffee!

    Hello Everyone
The Walmart here in Columbus OH at Whitehall won’t take internet coupons either. I did my speech and said they could not be fraud because of this and that. No deal, said they had meetings, ya da, yada, yada. I am also done for the most with them.

I am new to coupons, I love them! I went to Bi-Lo Tuesday had NO problem using Internet coupons. I went to Walmart last night and everytime she would scan one it would say……”Valid Coupon Y?” I said they are valid…she said I know it just asks. So the manager came over and told her to just hit yes everytime….. SO I did not have a problem! Thanks for all the advise!

I used to hate Walmart, but the company revolutionized Rx prices, making medicine affordable for millions, forcing other retailers to follow suit.

No problem with Internet coupons here in San Antonio.

    Special deal ending probably today

Bar S hotdogs for 50cents which makes them free if you use this coupon. Also was in Smart Sense last week. Here is the mfr link:

I have a question that I’m hoping you have an answer for. On several occasions, I have tried to use coupons that I have gotten from the local grocery store at my Walmart. The coupons stated that they were manufacturer’s coupons, but they would not scan at Walmart. Each time, the cashier would try it a couple of times but then say that since the coupon wouldn’t scan they couldn’t take it. I have usually not made a fuss, since I had actually gotten the coupons from a different store. Is this right? I read all the fine print on the coupons, and I am pretty sure that I should have been able to use them. Mine is only a regular Walmart, not Super Walmart. Thanks for your help.

I don’t think there’s any reason that blinkies from other stores shouldn’t work at Walmart. I do believe they have two barcodes, and the cashier needs to only scan one of them. My head is still fuzzy from the flu right now, and I can’t remember if it’s the larger one or the smaller one . . .

  27. how much do carpenters in exeter charge?

    October 20, 2013 at 12:06 pm

It seems that in the case of big construction you wouldn’t get a
cscs card with fake carpentry NVQ as they check, but could it open doors in small companies?
    What about horticulture NVQ?.
