Walmart: Curious George and How the Grinch Stole Christmas DVDs $2

December 15, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 50 Comments

Curious George A Very Monkey Christmas $2
Walmart has Curious George “A Very Monkey Christmas” and How The Grinch Stole Christmas on sale for $5 this week. Use these $3 off DVDs coupons to get these for $2 each!

Update: Many people are reporting that these are priced at $13 in their stores so YMMV. My RedPlum link seems to be having some issues, so if you don’t see the the coupons listed there, check RedPlum.com directly to print them.

Note that the How the Grinch Stole Christmas is the Jim Carrey version, not the animated classic, and may not be suitable for very young children.

Thanks, Keeping The Kingdom First!

Just called my Walmart and they are both $13 each. They acted like I was crazy…it is always that way in the St. Louis metro area. Way, way, higher than anywhere else!

Rachel, if you lived in a place where it was valid, you wouldn’t know about the deal if it wasn’t posted. Tara posts so many great deals for us, it is impossible to check them all. If it is a waste of time for you to go and check your local store, then don’t bother. But, don’t pick on Tara or any other bloggers who post deals that aren’t necessarily working everywhere. A lot of us think that it is worth the time to check and if she waits to check how valid it is, the deal may be gone.

got mine at Toys R Us yesterday for 50% off (of 16.99), so 8.49- $3 off Q made them 5.49 each. pretty good deal. Too bad the 50% off was just Sunday & Monday…or I’d go back for another set to give away for Christmas.

Has anyone gone to Walmart and price checked the dvds. Even though it isn’t advertised, the dvds could still ring up $5. About a month ago the alphabet pals were advertised for $15, but when you got to the register to check out they rand up for $9! I am going to run by Walmart tomorrow and see what the dvds ring up for.
