Walgreens: Trident Layers Gum Money Maker

October 2, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 13 Comments

Walgreens

I’ve got one more addition to the fabulous Walgreens October monthly deals. Use this $0.75/1 Trident Layers Gum printable on the following deal to earn money buying gum!

Update: It turns out that there is language on the coupon stating one per household that I was unaware of, so you may only use one.

Trident Layers Gum, 2/$2
Get $1 RR wyb 2

Use $0.75/1 Trident Layers Gum printable
$0.25 after coupon!

I’ll be back tomorrow with next week’s weekly deals!

(Thanks, The Coupon High!)

I was able to print 6 of them (and counting)!? I just kept hitting the back button. Do you think that’s ok (honest) to get that many or is it a glitch in their system?

I tried this deal earlier today but of course my cashier was the coupon police :) I hadn’t even noticed the one coupon per household but she did and only let me use one… Still a good deal though .. .25 for both :)

I’m sorry — I had not printed the coupon. I just assumed that the person that sent me the deal had checked it out thoroughly. I’ll change the post now.

Sheesh! You’re right, Michelle. I’m completely worn out after 2 football games that were a very long hike to get to today.

I used 2 coupons yesterday I think it just depends on the cashier. I was able to print 5 total.

I have been to two different Walgreens and neither one had the gum. Is it not available in all stores yet?

Thanks for this! I was able to print out 6 coupons too!

One Wags I was at I couldn’t find it. A different Wags had it. It does say on the shelf tag “NEW ITEM”, so maybe some stores don’t have them out yet. Keep looking though. I found them in the aisle with all the gum and candy (not by the registers).
I will probably only use 1 on a transaction and it will still be a screaming deal at $.25 for 2! The 2nd pk will be a good “filler” for when you have more coupons than items!

Unfortunately, your name is printed on the coupon…do not know if the manufacturer will accept second one.

I contacted Trident because I didn’t feel good about using this coupon more than once if the store wouldn’t get reimbursed for it. Here’s their response –

“Although the coupons are restricted to 1 per household, stores should be refunded for all coupons redeemed. It is at the stores discretion as to accept more than 1 coupon per name.”

So, it should be totally fine to go different times and use the coupon. Hew!
