Barbara, my SS didn’t have them from the local paper, but my L.A. Times did. You might want to get a different paper and check.

At my Walgreens they had the John Frieda on sale for 3.99. I got a shampoo and conditioner. I used 2 $3 off from 3/7 smart source plus the Walgreens coupon from the March book. Plus I got 3 bottles of Olay body wash used 3 $1 off coupons. Paid 12.39. But I still have to do the $15 dollar olay mail in rebate. So I made $2.61

I am so proud of myself! I went to Walgreens today and got 2 boxes of Grape Nuts cereal, used 2 of the $2 off coupons, bought 8 nestle crunch bars, used 4 bogo coupons, bought 2 chocolate covered peeps, and used 5 $1 RRs. They literally paid me money (accidentally I am sure). When the Assistant Mgr rang me up for the candy bars, he had rung them up together so they were cheaper, then realized I had coupons but only voided 6 bars apparently. So I paid like $1.40, walking out to my car I noticed he had originally charged me for 8 candy bars, but only voided 6, so I went back in and showed him what he had done, he fixed it and ended up giving me cash back for $1.71. Money maker, yippie! I know I could have used the coupons they had in the flier for cheaper candy bars, but I wanted to use those RRs before they expired.

The Walgreens coupon should multiply by the number of products you purchase, and you shouldn’t need a filler item unless you’re paying with an RR.

For the Nestle BOGO deal… could you hand the BOGO coupon before the Walgreens coupon to deduct $0.99 or $1.19 or however much the candy bar costs full price? If so, that could make them free or better than free.

Also, my Nestle coupon was a buy TWO get one free coupon. Would be 3 bars for $0.98 or possibly 3 free bars if the B2G1 free coupon can be handed over before the Wags coupon.

i am in nyc and anytime i can save $$$, i jump at it.

i found the last 2 glade sense & spray they had in the store. on sale for $ 5.99 ( usually $ 10.99 i believe? ) – the $ 2.00 wag coupon in the march book – the $ 3.00 off printable for a sense & spray.

    total $ 1.98 + $ 1.06 sales tax ( ugh!!! ) = paid $ 3.04 for both… not bad..

i did also try the J. Frieda deal. i have red hair and was trying to purchase the radiant red but the cashier couldn’t get it to go through… instead of holding up the lunch break line, i’ll try again later this week.

    love the site tara!!!

Quick question…how does this work? If I were to purchase 2 bottles of pantene and had the following coupons, could I use both? $3/2 pantene products and $1/2 pantene products. The register wouldnt take it! I thought one coupon for each product???

Melinda, you may use one manufacturer’s coupon pet item. The problem with the coupons you’ve listed above is that they are valid on multiple items. So basically in this case a single coupon attaches to both items and counts as a manufacturer’s coupon for both. Does that make sense?

i tried to do this deal today and my Walgreens wouldn’t let me use the $2 off coupon and the $3 off coupons. I tried to buy 2 shampoos, used one of the $2 off coupons (which doubled to $4) then she tried to scan my $3 off coupons. It kept beeping at her so she called over one girl and she told the cashier she had to scan the Walgreens coupon last, the cashier argued that was not store policy, they are supposed to scan the Walgreens coupons first then the others. Long story short the manager said all the coupons were Manufacturer coupons and that I didn’t have enough items. I told them I thought I could stack the store coupon with the Manufacturer coupons and the girl read the coupon and it said it was a Manufacturer coupon valid only at Walgreens. Aren’t manufacturer coupons valid anywhere? To me if it is valid only at Walgreens it shouldn’t be a manufacturer coupon. Tara is this right? Should I call corporate?
