Walgreens: Print Now to Save Later

September 17, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 18 Comments

Walgreens

It’s always disappointing when a coupon reaches its print limit soon after the drugstore deals are posted (kind of like the Triaminic coupon this past Sunday?), but luckily for us, Heather at NWA Deals put together this great list of coupons that we should take the time to print NOW.

All of these coupons match up with deals that will be better than FREE or FREE at Walgreens over the next two weeks!

  • $1/1 Dentek Dental Care printable
  • $2/1 Theraflu Nighttime printable
  • $1/1 Thermacare Heat Wraps printable
  • $1/1 Roots of Nature Hair Product printable (PDF)
  • $1.50/1 Vaseline Sheer Infusion Lotion printable

And one that will be $0.49 after coupon:

  • v$2/1 Tylenol Cold printable

Plus, stay tuned because there are two FREE after Register Rewards items coming up the week of 9/20 and nine FREE after Register Rewards items coming up the week of 9/27 — wow!!!

Amanda – A few months ago Walgreens ran a deal on the picks, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they did it again.

iheartwags.com says “Dentek Floss 55 yd or picks 35 ct $2 get $2 RR” so it looks like this coupon WILL work.

WARNING! I just printed this Robitussin coupon and it says “Save $2.00 on any Robitussin Formula (EXCLUDES ROBITUSSIN TO GO 2 COUNT)”… emphasis added. The deal the week of 9/27-10/03 is “Robitussin DM To Go 2 pk $2.49 get $2.49 RR”, so this coupon will NOT work. Don’t waste your ink/paper. Bummer!

I have a question on the wyethallbrands.com coupons. When you go to print them they have a security code printed on them. You can change your print box to print as many copies as you want, but the security code on all is the same. I only printed one of the Advil ones last week and one of the Therma care ones this week due to this security code. I understand and respect print limits and always try to play by the rules, but since these are not printed through a typical print manager, I am unsure about these. Anybody have any ideas on how they are handling these coupons as far as print limits?

I don’t know how they are handling as far as print limits… I used my family members email addresses & printed one per person for each member of my family. Each has a different security code.

Each security code is only valid once; the store will not get reimbursed for additional coupons with the same security code. I was actually able to hit BACK and re-submit the form using the same information to print a total of 8 coupons with unique security codes. I could probably have printed more than 8, but I figured 8 was more than enough!

Tamara – I was able to print out all coupons just fine using Safari on my Mac. Didn’t try to print the Robitussin DM coupon, though, since it wouldn’t qualify for the deal.

I printed the dentex once and then couldn’t find it again. Is there a different zip I could use? also the theraflu, thermacare, and vaseline would not print at all. any suggestions?
