Wow, between this and the Triaminic, Walgreens has gone from being a decent deal week to an awesome one. Thanks!

Wow, I’ve totally redone my plan for Walgreens this week. I didn’t even know about the Sally Hansen deal, or this deal. But I’m definitely gonna get both now!

I just did this at lunch! Will be going back and doing this:
    Buy True North Crisps $3
    Carefree Pantiliners $1.99
    filler $0.25
Use $5 RR (from one-a-day at lunch), get $3 RR and $2 RR
    Then buy 3 One-a-Day $0.99
    filler $0.25
Use $3 RR (from True North), get $5 RR
So I’ll spend $1.14 (basically tax in my area), still have $2 RR (carefree) and $5 RR (one-a-day) and have snacks and pantiliners!!

    YESSS!

I had to hunt these down. They were not in the vitamin section, which is where I looked first. They were on an end cap on clearance! 2 pack for .49 – and yes I bought 3 and got $5 RR.

    Esther –
I have learned that you almost have to go Sunday morning (early and while everyone is at church) to get some of these deals. They sell out fast. Sometimes they restock during the week, so it’s worth checking back. My Walgreens gives rainchecks.

TP didn’t work out for me today but the One-a-day did. I went back twice…one store they were at the register, the other time it was near the crystal light packets in the snack aisle. I also found Triaminic for $1.79 on clearance..bought two and got $5 RR!

I went to Walgreens at lunch: could not find the 2 pk of One a Day,the toilet paper rang up 2/$1.00 and the cashier stated she could not take the store coupon off. On some web sites it stated that you received 2 $5.00 on the Triaminic but I only received one. I did find the Pur water pitcher on clearence for $8.99 adn I was able to use the B1G1 Pur coupon. All in all I spent $30.00 and just not sure where. Are there any couponers in Alabama? I would love to find a group.

It took me 3 different Walgreens stores but I finally found the 2-pack One A Day vitamin drink packets. They were located in the vitamin section in the store I found them in. I took them over to the cosmetic counter and had the girl ring them up to be sure and she was amazed that a $5 RR would print out for the 2-pack size of this product.

If you buy 2 of the Triaminic Night Time Cold & Cough
(barcode 3 0043-6344-04 5) and use the $2 Walgreens coupons in the Healthy savings book, (which is free at the pharm) you will get them 2/$10-$4 (for the 1 coupon) which is $6. You will get 2 $5 RR!! I did this today. Only working for the Night time I believe. HTH

My store never prints the rr.The guy told me his system just picks up like every other rr. An they have no idea what I am talking about when I asked for the healthy savings coupon booklet. He looked at me like I was crazy. An said he had no idea what I was talking about. So yeah my store stinks.

I had a $3.00 RR from last week, so I figured I’d try the 2 pack One-A -Day drink mixes. I did find them by the travel size items at a store in Duluth. Of course, I had to get a filler item, as 99 x 3 is only 2.98 and they say it has to be over the amount, but I was thrilled to see the $5 coupon print out. I’m hoping to get the ear car and pay $1 oop and get $6 in RR, to go back and get 3 more of the One-A-Day and Crisps (and have more RRs to use…) :)

hehe…that’s where i am at on sundays, at church! yes, i do see the patterns, and sometimes i’m too lazy to go early in the week, and when i do get to go, they are all out…But then, i’m tired of shopping for deals already…maybe i need a break…when i do finally finish all my RR’s, i’ll then take a break…it’s like CVS, i keep rolling my ECBs, but then every week it keeps me going back because i have ECBs to be expired…

While the One-a-Day is a money maker, don’t feel bad for loosing out on the actual item. The drink mix is DISGUSTING!! I tried the berry and lemon-lime flavors. They both taste like those special drinks you have to chug down to test for gestational diabetes when you’re pregnant! Yuck!

ok, I am confused.. so you go to walgreens and get 3 of these one a day drink mix things and they are .99 ea and you get a $5 reg. reward? so you make $2? Also can you use other reg. rewards on them (from the past) or are there coupons for them?

I went back to my wags last night and the $5 rr did not print. So I guess they put a stop to it. Sad to say.

Michele, Yes, that’s correct you buy 3 of the One A Day drink things for .99 plus tax and out pops a $5 RR. I did it multiple times earlier in the week and used up $2 RR I had so I paid like $1.06 oop and got the $5 RR back. I made an immediate profit on my money! Now I am sorry to hear Cheryl report that she tried it last night and it was no longer printing out the $5 RR because after looking at next weeks ad, there is a bunch of stuff I’d like to get and I could use a few more RR.
