Do you get $8 back or $3 on this deal? I read on another blog that it is $8 back when you buy 3.

    Hi guys,

Yes the RR deal is $8 when you buy three items. The Diabetes coupon can be found by the pharmacy area or where the diabetic products are (usually in the same general area as the pharmacy).

Just wanted to stop by and say that the best part about this deal is that it is all month long so you can always order coupons from a coupon clipping service. Tara has a few services listed under the tab “coupons”

The Diabetes and You magazine is Holiday 2009/Winter 2010 and has a booklet wrapped around it with turkey meat. It has a green circle that says over $60 savings. I found it at the pharmacy in a rack.

I have two questions. Can I use the $8 register rewards to purchase 3 more bottles of the lotion on the next visit? Will this give me another $8 register reward?

KW, no, you cannot roll RRs earned on a specific deal on another transaction doing the same deal. They won’t print again. This sometimes extends to different deals if the RRs are issued by the same manufacturer, so to play it safe, it’s best to use RRs earn from a deal through a different manufacturer when trying to roll them. The manufacturer should be printed on them.

I’ve had trouble finding the 6 oz size. I’ve checked two different stores – does anyone have any tips on where to find it?

    Thanks!

I found them on the shelf with all of the other Lubriderms. Maybe look at the price tags, because it really doesn’t look that much smaller than the others. Just scan the lotion section, if you can’t find it then chances are your store doesn’t carry this size. This isn’t on special or anything, so it shouldn’t be in a special spot. Hope that helps.

    Just a heads up:

The 100 count Rolaids are $4.49. There is a $5 register reward when you buy 2. Pair this with your $4 off 2 coupons and it’s free.

The Walgreens ad says the RR deal is for the 16 oz. size. In my local store, only the large Lubriderm (16 oz.) has the RR sign on it. The 6 oz. bottle is 3.99 with no RR sign. Just wonder how/why this is working when the ad is specific about the size? thanks!

Does Walgreens let you use both kinds of coupons — meaning both the 2.00 off printable coupon AND the diabetes and you walgreens coupon? Last time I tried to use both a manufacturer coupon and a “walgreens” coupon they would not let me –? Thoughts on this?

Lynn Mass. I just did the 3 6-oz. plan. Price was 3.99 each. The Wags coupon scanned first for $3. The first $2 Red Plum went well. The suceeding $2 Red Plums beeped. Non combative cashier stumped, was able to manually enter. Got a 39 cent carmel as filler to get in a $3 RR from last week. $8 RR printed without resistance.

Im in Louisville, KY. went to wags earlier today and got 3 6oz bottles of the lotion and I didn’t get any RR’s. The ad I have states 16oz. But if I recall correctly, I believe it had a tag by the lotion that said the 6oz was in with the deal. Im going back tomorrow and check it out.

In Lansing, MI today I got 3 60z bottles and it printed off the $8 RR no problem. I ended up paying 1.79 per bottle which the $8 RR more than made up for that. It was a good find. The last time I didnt get the RR, I went back in and manager printed me off one, no problem.

I just got this deal and it’s the first time I’ve gotten RR’s. I understand that you can’t use the RR for the same product but I read that you can’t use them for a product made by the same retailer? I.E. it says compliments of Johnson & Johnson. Can I not use it on another Johnson & Johnson product?
