Heather at NWA Deals took a peek at next week’s Walgreens ad and shared great deal with me so we can prepare now by printing the $2/1 Lubriderm Lotion printable just in case it’s gone before then.
Lubriderm Lotion (6-oz.), 2/$5.69 (sale)
$2/1 Lubriderm Lotion printable
$1/1 Lubriderm (Wags Diabetes & You Coupon Booklet — deducts $2)
2 FREE after coupons!
*Note that if you’re only doing this transaction you’ll need to add an inexpensive filler item to absorb the small amount of overage.
Walgreens will also have Roc, Aveeno, and Clean & Clear products on sale, so this could be a great opportunity to take advantage of the $10/$30 Johnson & Johnson rebate I told you about yesterday. Be sure to print the rebate and any of the high-value coupons you might want to use now in case they disappear again!

There was also a commercial on TV advertising over $30 worth of coupons in this Sunday’s paper

I am finding lately that store managers are getting very persnickity about overages… Publix shorted me the other week when I presented a $3 store coupon and a $5 manufacturer coupon for the same product, which was on sale for $6.99. They refused any overage at all and reduced the value of the store coupon to $1.99! Then BiLo shorted me yesterday on a doubling — they normally double all manufacturer coupons up to $.55, so when I purchased cake mix for $.98 I thought I would make a tiny profit to use on the rest of my grocery purchase, but no — the manager wouldn’t allow it, instead reducing the “double” to $.44 to match the price without overage. What is going on here? Is this a new trend, or have I just been lucky until now?
Tara Kuczykowski
Unfortunately, I think you’ve probably been very lucky, Amy. Most stores don’t allow overage.
Brigitte
I think you have been very lucky too. I have never had a store give me more off than the entire purchase was. At Target the other day they had $1 off coupons on the site for green giant broccoli and cauliflower. Well last week the broccoli was on sale .97 and even though the coupon was for $1 off, they took off .97. I think the computer did it automatically. I need to check with my Publix and see if they stack coupons.

Awesome, can’t wait to get some!!
Holly
I looked at the CVS ad for next week, and it seems like they have all of the Aveeno products on sale, too.
Brittney
Could someone please tell me where I look for next weeks sales flyers? I usually cannot find them until after 1 am on Sunday morning!
Holly
Brittney try iheartwags.com and iheartcvs.com – Erica usually has the ad scans for the next 3 weeks or so, and she’s already got the Wags February Monthly RRs up – save those Tylenol coupons as there are better deals than the ones for this week.
Sarah
I have a couple questions about the rebate. I have the form printed, and it does not say they have to be in one transaction, but many rebates do. So can it be over several transactions? And is the $30 before coupons?
Thanks!
Tara Kuczykowski
It seems to me that you can submit receipts from multiple transactions. The $30 should be before coupons.
wendi
Ya, I want to know if the $30 is before the coupons!
Carol
Does anyone know a site that previews Rite Aid…I like Tara’s postings, but in S. Cal. our week starts on Thurs., so by the time I’m seeing the good deal scenarios, it’s almost over, and often too late to order coupons.
I did appreciate Tara’s preview of the great Gillette deal last year.
Thanks
Lynette
The Diabetes & You coupon will ONLY deduct $1.00 instead of the $2.00 as per my cashier who verified with the manager. He came over and verified and said that the coupon will only deduct the $1.00 on the 1st one but not on the one that is 1/2 off because the coupon states ONLY ONE PER OFFER.
Is this right? I’ve never had this problem before.
Thanks.
Tara Kuczykowski
Unless your store has done something to override it in their registers, the Walgreens coupons have always automatically multiplied toward the number of applicable items purchased, Lynette.

I don’t see this deal in this weeks Wags listings. I went to her site (I heart wags.com) and I couldn’t find this in this weeks ad, next weeks, or the next! :(
Wendi
I was told by the manager at my location that they had a big meeting on this rebate and was told that customers have to pay full 30 dollars with no coupons to get the 10 dollars back is this really true?
KeriLyn@SheSaved
Thank you for posting these great scenarios!!
