The Ghiradelli Luxe candy bars (milk and dark chocolate combo) are on clearance for 64 cents at the Walgreens stores near me. (At one of the stores, there was no tag, so I asked for a price check. Glad I did!) Match this with the $1/2 Ghiradelli coupon from September’s coupon book and you’ll get two big candy bars for 28 cents! I’m not a big dark chocolate fan, but these are yummy. I also got a few toys for my toddler -wo got stickers for 12 cents, and in the candy section, they have little toy phones with candy inside of them, clearanced from $1.99 to $.49. I bought one – and it actually makes noise like a cell phone! What a find! My little girl is always trying to take my phone, and now she has her very own. :o) One more thing – they also had little remote control pets clearance for $1.74, I believe. The puppies bark and wag their tail and even walk. To a 15-month-old, this is nothing short of a miracle. THANK YOU, Walgreens, for rescuing us from boredom on a hot day!!

I hope my Walgreens has the pregnancy test on clearance. I am going to check today. Hubbie and I are trying to get pregnant with our 2nd and I about died when I saw the price of tests. Baby #1 was before I had a coupon sense of money. I must have spent $100 on tests with our 1st! :)

Tide Vanilla & Lavender 25 load bottles were on clearance for $2.29 (and there is a $1 insert coupon around)…got my bottles for $1.29! Also Snuggle Fabric softener (I can’t remember the scent…it’s in a pink bottle) was coming up $1.39 on clearance. I can now do laundry for 2 adults and 2 teenagers cheap (Yippee…)!

My Walgreens has Twizzlers licorice on clearance for .80. With the buy 3 save $1 coupon expiring 9/30/09 it makes each bag less than .50.

Speaking of pregnancy tests, there is this awesome site anotherblessing.com that sells really cheap pregnancy tests. They are $0.50 – $0.85 with free shipping, I ordered some and they work great.

My Walgreens (Austin) has 6 0z. M & M Premiums clearanced for $1.09 (down from $3.99!). I didn’t have a coupon–unsure if there’s one out there–but this is a great treat to keep or give away!

Another source for good, inexpensive pregnancy tests is the Dollar Tree. Their brand is only $1/test. I’ve been using them for years, and they are great. They aren’t “pee-on-a-stick” ones, but I think they work even better. They also have ovulation predictor tests, but I’ve never used them.

The Gillette Tag men’s body spray is on clearance at our local Walgreens for $1.39 and using the $2 off coupons that I had and the BOGO coupons, this was a great deal!

I am totally jealous of all the great deals everyone is getting at Walgreens this week. My WAGS had not a whole lot left on clearance. One good find was the WAGS brand chapstick for .25. My toddler likes to eat mine so I bought a few. Got my 40 load all for $3.99 and 12 rolls of Angel Soft for $4.99. They also had the Glade Frag Collection 2 oz candels that I could finally use my FREE coupon on. Everywhere around here has been sold out since they issued it in the beginning of August and I was starting to think it was going to go to waste.

In my experience, pregnancy tests from dollar stores are perfectly reliable.

I woke up early this morning because I was so excited to go get these free goodies! I was so bummed. I went to 2 different Walgreens and neither one of them had the EPTs, Metamusil, or Mentos on clearance nor did they have anything else worth buying… oh well. :,(

Sorry, Bianca. This is why I always hesitate to post clearance deals because it’s so hit and miss.

My Walgreens had popscicles (soda pop flavors in the clear tube) on clearance for .50 (the root beer ones are very good). There are only 8 to a box, but at this price it makes pretty inexpensive treats for the kids. They also had 8 oz hand sanitizers on clearance for .75. I used both of these items as stuffers as needed. It was great!

My Walgreens refused to let me use the coupon because it was more than the product. She even asked the manager. That irks me because I know for a fact that they can price down but that store always gives me trouble. I need to start going to another one even if it is farther away.
