May 19, 2010 by Stacy @ Saving in Akron 8 Comments

Revlon Creme Gloss

It’s a pretty slow week at Walgreens, but there are still a few good deals to be had.  Revlon products are  currently B1G1 50% off, and some people have reported that the Creme Gloss is on clearance for $5.19 at their stores.  If your store has it on clearance, then you can get it for free.  Here’s how:

:: Revlon Deals

Buy (2) Revlon Creme Gloss, $7.74 (after B1G1 50% off)
Use $2/1 Revlon Lipstick, Lip Liner or Gloss, exp. 5-29 (Walgreens, May)
Use (2) $2/1 Revlon Color or Nail Product, exp. 6-6-10 (SS 05/02/10)
FREE plus $0.21 overage after stacked coupons!

There’s also a Walgreens IVC coupon available for Revlon Tweezers.  Combine the deal above with the tweezers to get all 3 for $0.78.  Here’s how:

Buy (2) Revlon Creme Gloss, $7.74 (after B1G1 50% off)
Buy (1) Revlon Tweezers, $2.99
Use $2/1 Revlon Lipstick, Lip Liner or Gloss, exp. 5-29 (Walgreens, May)
Use $1/1 Revlon Tweezers, exp. 5-29-10 (Walgreens, May)
Use (2) $2/1 Revlon Color or Nail Product, exp. 6-6-10 (SS 05/02/10)
Use (1) $1/1 Revlon Beauty Tool, exp. 5-30-10 (SS 04/25/10)
$0.78 for all 3 after stacked coupons!

:: Reach Toothbrushes

If you need toothbrushes, now is the time to stock up.  Walgreens has a sweet deal going on and you can get them for FREE as well.  The items that are included in this deal are:

  • Reach Total Care Multi-Action
  • Reach Total Care Floss Clean Full Head Toothbrush
  • Reach Total Care + Massage Soft (or Medium) Full Head Toothbrush.

Here’s the deal scenario:

Buy (4) Reach Toothbrushes, $16 ($4 each)
Use (2) B1G1 Select Reach Toothbrushes, exp. 12-31-10 (RP 05/16/10)
Use (2) $1/1 Select Reach Products, exp. 12-31-10 (RP 05/16/10)
Use $5.01 Walgreens in-ad coupon (coupon will actually adjust to $6.68)
FREE plus overage after stacked coupons!

    My Walgreens would not let me use the stacked coupons to get the REACH toothbrushes. The other coupons went through fine but the WAGS coupon beeped and the clerk read the fine print which said “Cannot be combined with any other offers.” The clerk also told me that it wouldn’t work b/c I hadn’t spent $12 on toothbrushes. Anyone else have this experience?

    There was also a $2/1 Revlon Color Cosmetic Product (exp. 5/30), in the 4/25 SS if anyone doesn’t have two copies of the 5/2 one.

      Annie, those refer to the SmartSource and RedPlum inserts in the Sunday Paper. The coupons do vary by region, so you may not receive all of the ones listed, but you can always purchase coupons from a coupon clipping service if you need some that weren’t in your paper!

    Had that same problem at Walgreens this morning. All the coupons went through just fine and the WAGS coupon beeped. The cashier called the manager and I waited too long for him so I just had the cashier void the items. I dont feel like trying this deal again. Too bad..

    I found these Revlon lip glosses on $5.19 clearance at TWO Walgreens by me- I was shocked and thrilled (because I typically am not lucky with clearance deals). I did the deal at both stores- free lipgloss! Be sure to hand your two $2 MQ before the $2 Walgreens Q in order to avoid beeping. I’ve got a few more coupons, so I’ll be going back for more tomorrow.

    No go on the reach. The same thing happened to me. Everything was fine til the Walgreens coupon. The cashier was even nice enough to void all the coupons and try the wag’s q first, then when it did not go through he read the fine print and thought it said two packs were the deal. I just had him void the sale and later when I read the ad, I thought that the single ones where included. So I do not know what the problem was, because even when he had voided all the other coupons the wags Q did not go through..

    Went to try the Reach deal today. Cashier was the manager and was very nice in trying to work with me but the computer would not let us use both the BOGO coupon AND the $1 off. It used both SKUs for the BOGO and didn’t think there were enough SKUs available for $1 off. Has Walgreens changed their computer program so you can’t stack a BOGO with another Manu coupon for $1 off the one you buy? DIsappointed it didn’t work but it was worth a try!
