Did the Crest/Meter deal start this week? Last week I bought 3 meters and didnt get any free q’s.
I also didn’t know about not getting the rebate when using Q’s. I was going to give them to my Grandmother and her friends that are diabetic hoping they could use the meter and the rebate. Oh well, they will be happy about a free meter!

Yes, Sahara, the April ad started a few days early at Walgreens, so this is a new deal.

Is the Mentos deal unadvertised? I cant find it in the ad. I do not need a WAGS Q, correct? Just the mfgr Q.

I don’t think it was in the ad, Melissa, but there are signs in the store. You only need the manufacturer coupon, no Wags coupon necessary.

How long is the Mentos deal going to be available? Is it for the month of April, or just for this week?

I believe it should run through the 24th of April along with the ESR period.

On the $30 off 1 meter from 2/1/09, what does the abbreviation “V” mean? I was wondering where to find that coupon. Thanks!

V is the Valassis Sunday insert. You can find a comprehensive list of the couponing terms used in my quick reference guide. It can easily be found in the future by clicking on the Coupons tab at the top of each page. Thanks!

They were in the 3/1 SmartSource Sunday insert. eBay is a great resource for additional coupons if you need them!

I’m also confused on the Mentos. My WG store has the product for $1.69 per item, no sales price posted anywhere.

How does the Skintimite deal work?

S Davis, from what I understand the Mentos should be on sale everywhere.

Angela, for the Skintimate, a Register Reward for $3 should print when you buy one. You can only purchase one per transaction, and you will not be able to purchase another Skintimate and pay for it with that RR to receive another RR.

So excited to go to my Walgreens today, but thanks to a greedy couponer, I came home with a raincheck. I could tell the clerk was all giggles about it, since she saw I had coupons too. She said…”You’re too late, the lady before you had 25 coupons!:

Come on girls…leave some for the rest of us and don’t drag our image through the mud like that!

A raincheck won’t get you the register reward unless you use it within the same advertised week, right?

I went to get the meters today, but i couldnt see anywhere that it was at $15 the tag on the shelf said $70 or so. Is it ringing up this price? or do they not have a sign for a sale?

I went to Walgreens today and did the meter deal and got some edge shave gel, I ended up returning the gel because I didn’t spit out the rr….but it did spit out the one for free tooth paste, do you know if the edge RR deal ended?

Hmm, it shouldn’t have ended. I wonder if the toothpaste RR somehow canceled it out.

I know what happened now, you have to buy the new bottles of the gel for it to work.

Do you know which Skintimate shaving gels are working for the RR? I bought a Skintimate “Skin Therapy Moisturuzing Shave Gel-Sensitive Skin” 7 oz. for $2.49 and a Register Reward did not print out (in the same transaction, I also purchased the chapstick, the RR did print out for that). If anyone knows, would appreciate the info, thanks!

And thanks for the Mentos tip, I got 4 for FREE with my coupons (and they were not marked on sale 2/$2, but they rang up on sale at the register).

Dear Deal Seeking Mom! I live in Canada and so can’t often take advantage of these wonderful “Rolling Register Receipts.” This expression reminded me of my childhood when a “buzz” used to go through the town that the “Smelt were Running!” That’s when we could go down to the lake (Lake Erie), wade into the water with a bucket and scoop up dinner for a week!
I’m on a vacation and was so happy that a Walgreen’s was only 4 doors down from our hotel! Yahooooooo! My husband couldn’t understand why I was buying so much shaving gel and shower gel! The manager was cheering me on as I came back time after time with my bargains.
I’m sure that the customs folks at the border won’t believe that I bought so much for so little – so I’ve definitely saved the sales receipts.
I even found a store today where Dove Conditioner had been marked down to $2.09 – I used my $1.50 off coupon and bought it for $.59. I’ve become the coupon queen!
We’re now in Washington and hoping to do most of our touristing for free. (I don’t think they give $ back coupons for a tour of the White House ……or do they?) Thanks for all the work! and generosity in sharing!

Aww, Jesse, thank you so much for leaving this comment. You really made my day! Enjoy the rest of your vacation. I’m hoping that some day my years of couponing will pay and and I’ll be able to do the same with my hubby!

Just spoke with Catalina people after receiving only 1 Crest Catalina after purchasing 2 Bayer glucometers. The deal is 1 per transaction, so would need to split up purchases if have multiple Q for the glucometer. :)

Just got another tube of Crest to do the rebate deal and noticed a pad of ‘Get a FREE Crest ProHealth toothpaste’ MIR attached to the Crest section. I’m not very observant, so who knows if it’s been there all along… :) Since I only had 3 glucometers, I had to purchase the 4th toothpaste with REAL money to get the $5 Walgreens rebate. So this will work out nicely!
