Does anyone know how often the Children’s Activity Book is issued? I’ve only seen them once at my local Wags.

I asked two managers about the childrens activity book also and they had no clue what I was talking about. (These are the same managers that didn’t know about the in-store coupon sheet (but the make-up counter cashier had the sheets and only let me use the coupons since I asked. I swear there are so many new managers at the local st. louis stores that they don’t know which end is up.

Thanks for the list. Believe it or not, we didn’t make it to Walgreen’s today! Not to take away readers, but I added in the manufacturer’s coupons for even more savings if anyone wants to know what coupons are out there. Have a great day!

I’ve only found the childrens book once and I’ve never seen these coupons. Do they replenish them if they run out?

My Wags put their Children’s books on clearance a few months back. If you can find them at your store consider yourself lucky. They don’t usually replenish them. Once they are gone, they are gone. I picked up 2 when they were first out – wish I would have gotten a few more.

The Childrens activity book is most often hidden in the childrens book section. Sometimes I find them hidden in the coloring books and sometimes they are in the reading books for children. The monthly coupon books are to be kept at the front of the stores on the front of the weekly flyer racks. The healthy savings books are usually kept at the pharmacy. Most of the time depending on the stores the clerks in the pharmacy will act like you have a third eye if you ask for it. I really had great luck with a really sweet manager at my Walgreens. We had our differences at first, but I just explained that I was not trying to rob him that it was to his benefit to take coupons. 1) the manufacturer will be giving you back the amout of the coupon. If it was not for the coupons your store would have to reduce the price to get me to buy it and that would be a total lose for the company. After he thought about it, The next time I came in he could not help me enough to use my coupons and even helped me take my things to my car.

I called the 1-800 number for Walgreens a month ago in an attempt to understand the distribution of the Children’s Activity Book. I was told by the Walgreen’s representative that it was a regional level decision on whether the stores in that region would carry the Children’s Activity Books. Unfortunately, my region does not. Hence the reason the managers at several of the local stores had never heard (or seen) them. Hope this info helps!

The Feb. 2010 Walgreens and previous coupon books say manufacturer coupon on the coupons, and in S. Calif. the stores WILL NOT let you use 2 manuf. coupons for purchases. I do not understand why it is repeatedly stated that these are store coupons when they say MANUFACTURER COUPON.
I have had the same problem at Rite Aid when I presume from the posts that the stores are offering store coupons and then you plan to use the store coupon and realize it’s a manuf. coupon once you are in the store and can read the print… Rite Aid will also NOT let you use 2 manuf. coupons.
Sometimes weekly ads do have store coupons, but the W monthly coupon book state MANUFACTURER coupon on the coupons.
I had the experience of asking for the Diabetes coupon book recently and having the pharmacist look at me like he never heard of them, looked under the counters and couldn’t find any…the next week after the FREE w/ DB coupon offer was over, I saw some Diabetes coupon books out TOO LATE to be of value (were expiring in a few days — the end of Jan…WHERE DO THEY HIDE THESE???)

Yes, if you read the dreaded “fine print”… it does say that they are manufacturers coupons. So ASK FIRST so you are not disappointed when you get there. BUMMER!!! I’m not happy :( They need to make it more clear.
