I’m confused because I want to start doing this at our local Walgreens but each time I have been in nothing extra has printed out with my receipt. Where are the RR’s and how do I get them?

The RR’s print out with you receipt. MAke sure you are buying the correct items & the correct amounts too, otherwise they should be printing (unless the cashier forgot). if you are positive you have everything correct, take your receipt in with you next time and ask.

Also, the theraflu coupon is not working when you click on “coupon” on their website.

Michele – the RRs will automatically print out of the Catalina machine, which is the same machine that spits out coupons and advertisements after your sale, when you buy the advertised items. Keep in mind, the RRs print separately from your regular receipt, so make sure the cashier puts them in your bag or hands them to you! If you’d like, list out the items, sizes, and quantities that you bought, and the date you purchased the items, so we can help you figure out what might be going wrong.

The last few times this campbells deal has come around I haven’t been able to print the coupons either – I always get error messages. Is it working for anyone?

For the Theraflu deal – there’s also a $2 off coupon in the Wags Healthy Savings Booklet. If you combine the manufacturer coupon & the one in the wags booklet, you only pay $0.99 OOP and get $3rr!

I guess what I’m confused about is how to use the RR’s that I don’t have. Do I get them when I buy anything… or just certain things?

    Rembrandt Toothpaste, $5
    Get $5 RR
    $1/1 Rembrandt Product, exp. 12-31-09 (SS 8/2/09)
Better than FREE after coupon and RR!

does this mean… buy a toothpaste for $5 as a transaction buy paying $5.
How do the RR’s come into play? I feel like I need someone to hold my hand in the store and literally show me how this works… anyone live in NC?

The RRs print after your transaction, so no, you won’t be able to use the $5 RRs to buy the Rembrandt toothpaste. You’ll have to pay the $4 ($5 – $1/1 coupon) and then the $5 RR will print to use on a future transaction. Once you have your $5 RR, you can use the RR to buy other things, preferably things that will produce more RRs. This is a process we call “rolling” – using RRs to produce more RRs, essentially so you end up paying very little to nothing out-of-pocket (OOP).

I was able to print out the Campbell soup coupon, but it’s for “cooking soups” which would mean French onion, Cream of ___ so I’m not sure it will work on chicken noodle or tomato which is what the in-ad coupon is for. Has anyone been able to use the IP and it worked?

In past sales we have been able to use the “cooking soups” coupon on tomato soup. I’ve never tried it on the chicken noodle, but the tomato soup is considered a cooking soup I guess. Hope this helps. I know it worked for me in the past.

yes, Anna-Marie, i personally have used thee Campbells Qs on chicken noodle at Wag’s. i was a little leary, but it worked… and in my defense, I do make a casserole dish with chicken noodle soup, so it IS a cooking soup, sometimes! :)

I went to Walgreens today and bought two Velveeta Shells & Cheese cups which produced a $1 RR. Not sure if this is left over from a previous week or what, but I’ll take it!

Be on the Lookout for Theraflu on clearance! My store had Theraflu Cold & Cough 6 count packages (lemon flavor) on clearance for 3.29. I used a $2 coupon and the $3 RR printed! The UPC is: 300430466163

If you don’t see the Healthy Savings booklets with the $2.00 off coupon for Theraflu, your Walgreens might be like mine. I just so happened to see a stack of them behind the make up counter with a note on them that said only give to customers asking about the fly shot. I just asked for the flu booklet.

I bought the Velveeta Shells & Cheese cups yesterday (had a BOGO coupon for them)! I also had the 15% friends and family coupon one day only coupon. I also got the $1 RR. I made money on that deal!
