Thanks for the deals! I just wanted to let you know that you can’t use the coupon for the colgate toothpaste…. That coupon expires today and the sales don’t take effect until tomorrow.

Comment about the Eskimo Pie rebate form…
Per the wording on the form, the rebate form appears to be a tear-off, which probably means it was scanned and this could very likely make it void if printed from the internet. The form looks similar to another rebate form that I recently received in the mail for another product. Plus the form doesn’t really state what items are valid for the rebate which makes me think it was part of a flyer from the mail or in the store and only the detachable part was scanned. I have my doubts that this form will be valid and accepted for the rebate.

Didn’t see the following until I looked into it a little more…
The following link is the information page which you can then go to the pdf rebate form.
    https://www.hillers.com/current-ad/special-offer.html
I’m in Houston so I have never heard of the store Hillers, I thought hillers.com was just some random website.
Maybe the form will work, unless it’s area specific.

There is also a coupon for a free Axe shampoo or conditioner (up to $5.49) in the August edition of Maxim magazine, page 21. Not worth buying the magazine off the newstand, but if you know someone who subscribes it’s a great coupon. Would be good to use at Walgreens this week with the buy 2 get one free sale on Axe.

    Question:

How does the neutrogena BOGO offer work? If one is 7.99 and I use the 3/1 coupon, it will cost about 4.99, and I get one free. So does that mean that I can use a second coupon for the free product and have another $3 taken off the 4.99? Is that how I end up paying .99 for each product?

Sorry! These BOGOs confuse me sometimes!

I hate to be a pain, but I have desperately been trying to improve with the whole register rewards “rolling” thing. I just clicked on every Mr. Linky and there are NO scenarios – I only see the same coupon match-ups over and over. I ALREADY HAVE THAT!! What transactions are you going to do to use the least oop???

    Lynn –

I would start with the Dove scenario (instant moneymaker) and then use those $2 RRs to buy any other items that you want. I’m a sucker for those Engangered Species chocolate bars right now. They make great, QUALITY [ :) ] fillers because they will print off a slip containing a code for a free redbox one-night rental. However, the Pilot pens also look to be great filler items as well – they’re only $1 and you get $1 RR back, so I’ll use those instead.

    Transaction #1:

This transaction is tricky and depends on how well you know your cashier. In my experience, and despite the “standardized” coupon policy, some Wags cashiers will give you the full face value of any coupon and others will reduce the coupon value to the actual cost of the item. If you’re not sure which policy your cashier adheres to, then ask in advance before you shop. In the case of the $0.99 trial deoderant, the $1/1 coupon exceeds the price. Assuming your Wags will give you full $1 value, which mine does, here is the scenario:

Buy (2) Dove Body Mists, $4.49 ea.
Buy (2) Dove Deodorants (travel size), $0.99 ea.
    Buy (1) Pilot G2 Gel Pens (2-pk.), $1 ea.
    Use (2) BOGO Dove coupons
Use (2) $1/1 Dove Deoderant coupons
    OOP = $0.98
Earn $3 RRs ($2 for Dove, $1 for Pilot pens)

(I actually did this scenario last week using the Endangered Species chocolate bars instead of the Pilot pens as a filler. If your Wags reduces the coupon value to $0.99, then you don’t have to don’t have to buy the Pilot pens or chocolate bars. Your total will be FREE after coupons. I could be wrong about this, but in my experience, RRs will still print if your total cost is $0, but not if your price after coupons and discounts is negative. I discovered this when I bought Oreo cakesters and Pringles a few weeks back, but it could have been a fluke.)

    Transaction #2:

Buy (1) Tylenol Extra Strength, $4.99 ea.
    Buy (1) Pilot G2 Gel Pens (2-pk.), $1 ea.
Use (1) $2/1 Tylenol Extra Strength coupon (SS 6/21)
Use $2 RRs (Dove) from previous transaction
    OOP = $1.99
Earn $4 RRs ($3 for Tylenol, $1 for Pilot pens)

    Total OOP: $2.97
$5 RRs to use next week

With the redbox codes, you have to make sure the store u are shopping at has a redbox. If not the code might not print. I work for Walgreens and my store does not have a redbox and the code dont print out at the register when that candybar is bought.

    Hello all <3

Thank you for the clarification on BOGOs.. I thought that because you get one free, you can’t use the coupon on it, because it’s already free.. Hah. Anyway, thanks!

I have a few of the 1.00 mentos coupons that came about a month ago but they’re only valid on the 3packs!

To save ink on the tylenol deal, I found a tylenol pamphlet in one of those spinning things right at the front counter for the pharmacy. It had $1 off any tylenol product in it. I’m sure they’re still there.

Sara – since you work for Walgreens, do you know if the RR’s print at every register? (I guess others may know this as well if your purchase was at other counters). More specifically, photo/cosmetics counters? My dad works for corporate and sometimes I get the friends/family discount coupons (I know one is coming up in a few weeks). I thought this would be a great way to save even more with RRs + extra off, but I know the transactions have to be done at photo or cosmetics (and my Wags tend to send me to photo regardless). I didn’t know if I would be able to get the discount and also have the RR’s print. Thought maybe you would know since you get the emp. discount. Thanks!

I found this link for more Excedrin coupons for $1.00 each. https://www.excedrin.com/offers.shtml
If you hit your browsher back button, you can print two of each. These all work for the BOGO Excedrin offer plus $5.o0 RR, which means you could get 8 various Excedrin products for FREE. (Limit 1 $5 RR per transaction.)

Lynn – good luck! I actually got a $2/1 Excedrin coupon from the Wags catalina the other day, which would turn the Excedrin deal into a moneymaker. I had purchased two dove deoderants, two dove body mists, and one Endangered Species candy bar, and used a RR coupon as well, so I’m not sure what triggered it to print. Anyone else know?

Not sure which Walgreens have these, but I’m in the chicago suburbs and there were prepackaged BOGO on the Excedrin products that the coupons are for. These also participated in their BOGO sale offer. So with the coupons, I got 4 for free in one transaction!

I just went to my Walgreens in Boone, NC where I found a great deal!!! They have a 6 oz tube of Crest toothpaste and 8.4 oz bottle of Crest mouth wash packaged together and marked down to $3. I had a $0.75 coupon for Crest toothpaste so I ended up paying $2.25 for both!!!!

Lindsey – i found those too and used my $2 off 80ct or higher (the 2 40 boxes qualified) not that the cashier even looked at the coupons, but I like to be honest – so I made a $2 profit – WOO HOO!!

Went again this morning and bought the tylenol, a 29cent pencils and the $1 pens and only spent .38 after my $5.00 RR and $1.00 off tylenol and it printed 4.00 in RR … woohoo. Im slowly getting the hang of this thing now!

I purchased four Hefty OneZip Storage Bags and attempted to use four blinkies. The cashier stated she could not accept four blinkies since I was only paying for two items. Is this correct? I have emailed Walgreens about their coupon policy.

Katrina-I have trouble all the time at the St. Louis area Walgreen stores using coupons for buy one/get one free as my cashiers always tell me the same thing, that I can’t use a second coupon because I am getting the second item free. I am tired of holding up the line and waiting for a manager only to be told the same thing by the manager. I know others on this site say that they have no problem using 2 coupons in other parts of the country so I wish Walgreens would make a clear coupon policy that applied nationwide.
