Hi Tara, there is also a register rewards of $10.00 for purchasing $20.00 of select bayer products and Flintstones vitamins. In addition, in this Sunday’s paper there is a MIR to get back up to $10.00. If you use the $2.00 off internet printable coupons and the coupons in this Sunday’s paper you will have a MoneyMaker and this purchase will qualify for the flexible spending account program.

One of the many Walgreens deals I did today was the Quaker instant oatmeal. I had eight of the $1.00 mfg. coupons, so of course I picked up 8 boxes. The young lady at the cosmetics counter checked me out. As she was scanning my mfg. coupons for the oatmeal, she said “You just got the oatmeal for .99! You must be bargain shopping today.” I replied “yes”, but was thinking to myself “Bargain shopping is the only way I shop!.” :)

Glade scented oil refills are on sale for 2 for $5, and there was a BOGO coupon + a $2.50 off 2 coupon in a recent insert, and I had 2 of each coupon, so I bought 4 for $10 minus $5 for the BOGO minus $5 for the 2 coupons, and I got 4 sets of 3 refills for free. I was way too excited! :) I also still had the $1.10 off Progresso soups, so I got 2 of those for .30, and I had the 2 $3 B& J’s coupons, so I really made out like a bandit today. yay!

How does the L’Oreal deal work- with the BOGO free and the $3 off coupon? Can someone walk through an example for 2 items for 4.99 each? I’m not sure how it would ring up.

    Erica:
If you purchase 2 items at $4.99 each on the BOGO sale – you use 2 coupons @$3.00 each (1 for each item you are purchasing) —- your total would be $4.99-$6 – giving you an overage. In this instance they would likely just adjust the second coupon to $1.99 and you would therefore get both items for free. I did not see any items cheap enough to make this a FREE deal. However, CVS has many items marked down 75% making several loreal items less than $0.50.

Where did you get the following info?
    DeMet Chocolate Turtles, $0.99
    $1.50/1 DeMets Turtles, any 3 oz.+, exp. 3-31-09 (SS 11/16/08)

I looked for that one last week and couldn’t find it in the store anywhere for that price!

Thanks for the breakdown, Tracy! BTW, I saw some eyeshadow that was under $6, so that would be free with two of the $3 coupons and the BOGO sale.

Yo’mama, I actually saw that one on a few other blogs, so I added it. But now I’m wondering if it was perhaps a special holiday size. Has anyone else found these? The last thing I need in this house is more candy, so I didn’t even bother looking.

I found lots of clearanced L’Oreal at WAGS yesterday. By using coupons, I got concealer for $.59, lip color for $.59 and blush for $.89! I also got free Ben & Jerry’s and free Garnier shampoo! Thanks Deal Seeking Mom!

Hey I just realized I could’ve gotten a second blush and concealor free with the BOGO! :( My store didn’t have the signs up and I forgot about that one! BTW, my WAGS doesn’t let me use 2 coupons if they are BOGO. The manager tells me that I can only use 1 coupon, since the other one rings up $0.00. I guess it just depends on who rings you up!

I am not finding some of the coupons in my Sunday paper. Electrasol, garnier, etc. AHHH! Anyone else? I bought 3 papers after reading about the deals. I have looked through them 3-4 times. I am tired from being up with my baby… :)

Hey, I went into Walgreens today and they had put $1.00 off coupons in front of the Garnier products. With the ES catalog this would make them free. I thought this is too good to be true. I asked the manager if I could use both and he said I should be able to. And it worked. I bought 10 shampoos, cond, hair products, my sister bought 13. ALL FREE. Yippee
