Mmm, I know what I’m going after at Walgreens this week. I LOVE macadamia nuts, and getting chocolate-covered macadamia nuts for $0.50 each is absolutely unheard of!

I cashed in on some deals yesterday but had a shock when the manager informed me that you can no longer pay for Register Rewards sales with Register Rewards from previous weeks. They consider this “doubling”. I’m assuming that the register cannot decipher between register rewards from last week or this week. I’ve done this in the past without a problem. However, neither transactions from last week and this week printed the RR when I used RR to pay!
Deal Seeking Mom
That’s interesting, Tracy. I know that you can’t roll RRs if it’s the same deal. Is that what you were trying to do? Or are they just saying that you can’t use RRs towards any other RRs offer?

Where can i find the pharmacy coloring book? I have not seen any at the pharmacy area of my store. Was this a 1 time offer, or are they still available?

Nope, they were RR from a couple weeks back – not the same deal. I had tried to do multiple transactions a few weeks ago by using coupons and RR to pay for other deals that had RR (just so I wouldn’t have to worry about them expiring before I used them) and was told at that time that I couldn’t use mfg coupons or RR to pay for another RR deal….that was a 1st on that one, but the RR would never print until he totalled it w/out any coupons or RR..hmmmmm. But this time I was just told that you can no longer pay for a RR deal with RR because they consider that “doubling”. I figured they wanted us to use our RR like CVS Extra Bucks…use them like cash. Walgreens must not want us to shop with them anymore. If I use a RR to pay for my rebate items I’m still going to get the rebate so I don’t understand what the difference is. Maybe I should write to Walgreens Corporate and try to get an answer from them.
