Last week, I did this deal twice but on the second one, it didn’t give me my $3 rr. Then, I went back to the store to bring up the issue and they told me it wasn’t even in the add so I was pretty confused about it! What do u suggest when stuff like that happens?

If you use the $3 RR on the second one, it will not give you the RR coupon. I have had this happen before. You need to just pay cash and end up with two $3 RRs.

Register Reward=RR – it’s a coupon to use on your next purchase at Walgreen. usually just $$ off your next purchase, but sometimes $$ off a specific item.

CVS has them and they are called ECBs.

RR is a register reward that has a $ value. Also for this deal you will only get one RR per purchase. So if you by 4 in one purchase you will only receive one RR. In order to get two RRs you would need to purchase the 4 in two separate transactions of 2 and 2. Confusing I know.

The picture threw me because in stores they are packaged differently, and the RR aren’t advertsed so I had to ask the cashier if I was buying the correct product to get the 3RR. Fortunately she knew that they were ringing up that way. She commented that the deal will be advertised later in the month.

Can’t find it in stock anywhere, can you get rainchecks at walgreens for RR’s? Also, it isn’t 12 double rolls, it is 12 large rolls, they are smaller.

You can not get a raincheck for the RR’s. I know it sucks since Walgreens never seems to be in stock.

I think the photo is just a stock photo, it would be whatever they have in the Walgreen’s store. Walgreen’s normally doesn’t honor the RR for rainchecks.

I found out this week that you cant use more then one coupon for the item purchased. Meaning if you have a manufacturers coupon + walgreen coupon, and you are only buying 1 item it wont work. (There policy is amount coupons can not exceed qty of items purchased.) I tried to use 1$ off bounty and 1$ RR, has this happened to anyone else?

You will have to throw a filler item in if you have more manufacturer’s coupons than you do products (the RRs are man. coupons). Think cheap pencils or the Walgreens candy on sale for 49¢ this week.

I always find Laffy Taffy (sp?) right near my register for 15 cents -ish when I need a filler.

The package that is on sale for $5 at my wags is a 12 pack of large rolls not double rolls as in the picture. The $1 off 1 coupon was in the wags monthly coupon book. If you scan the manufacturers coupon first then the wags coupon it should work, at least it did at my store.

O’kay I know my comment won’t exactly be about Cottonelle TP, but am really hoping somebody know the answer to some Walgreens questions. Thanks.

I was just at Walgreens and found out the hard way about using Cottonelle TP RRs on the next Cottenelle TP. Oh well.

Anyways, I had questions about the Sunburnt gel and Nexcare bandaids. Since I was using coupons with the products with the MIRs does anybody know if I will get the full price that was told in the rebate when you send in the rebate and can you send in multiple rebates of the same product. For instance, on the sunburnt gel; price $3.99; coupon price: $0.50 = $3.49. My question is will I get $3.99 back or $3.49?

I have four young boys and bought a few Sunburnt gels and Nexcare bandages and was wondering if I can send in multiple rebates for the same product. I was reading the very small print on the Sunburnt gel rebate form and read that a household can only use one rebate between a certain time (5/01/11 – 5/28/11).

If this is the case does anybody also know how returning products that you’ve used coupons for at Walgreens goes. I’ve returned items before at Rite Aid and have had no problems, but have read comments on other blogs about issues returning product that you used a coupon for at Walgreens.

I am basically getting more nervous about mail-in-rebates and possible returns.

    Thanks for any help.

Okay can someone tell me where/how I went wrong.
I bought 2 cottonelle toilet papers for $5 each plus I bought a 49 cent cookies as a filler. I handed the cashier the walgreens coupon and 2 50 cent off coupons but one of the 50 cent ones would not take???????

Telisa- did you get 2 fillers? If you have 2 TP’s and 4 coupons you would need 2 fillers. Also be sure to run the manufactures coupon first then the WG’s.

Michelle- I do not know how much you will get back (still have not mailed mine yet) but I know there is a limit and you can only get 1 of each type. I think it is also per household so you may want to use a different address or something.

Ok thanks guys. Now another question. If I take back the toilet paper and have it re rung and just use cash would that give me my rr?

Kerri- Not sure I understand the question. If you return the items and wish to rebuy them you will need another set of coupons. They won’t give you your coupons back or the value of them back. From there you will be starting from scratch. That has been my experience. I also tell them flat out that I screwed up and want to try again. Most of the time they laugh.

Went last night and there was a huge advertizement in the TP aisle about this deal. Impossible to miss. Perfect timing needed a few rolls.

Well because the first time I did not know that if I used my register rewards from the first transaction that it wouldn’t give me my rr. I talked to the manager about it and she just looked in the ad and said it wasn’t a rr deal. Which I KNOW it was but I wasn’t going to argue with her about it. I do have enough coupons to have her re ring it up and get the register rewards. And still do one more of the transaction if I decide to. I mean, if it weren’t for the great deal with the RR and my coupons I wouldn’t have bothered with it! My stupid mistake I just didn’t know it would do that or I wouldve paid cash for all. :)
