I use the Upromise coupons and other things from their site. I have saved $35 so far for my boys education. It isn’t much but anything helps. I transfer the money into a 529 I have set up for them. If only Wal-Mart accepted Upromise, I would save even more!

I always add them on, but don’t always use them since my store selection is limited. I figure it doesn’t hurt to try!

i tried to use Upromise but found the coupons didn’t work. I followed the instructions. Does it matter whether you use cash or debit?

Hi Michelle, Courtney and Leah, Jeff from Upromise here. One thing to note, Michelle — Walmart.com is a Upromise partner. You can earn college savings as long as you start your shopping at Upromise (https://shop.upromise.com) before clicking over to Walmart.com. Here’s a link over to the coupons and deals their offering. https://bit.ly/bInKfU

Leah, no, it doesn’t matter if you use cash or debit. Just make sure you’ve registered your grocery store loyalty card to your Upromise account and then activate the eCoupons here: https://bit.ly/aTOEu7

I’m happy to answer any other questions.

Thanks. And thanks to Tara of DSM for posting this months Upromise eCoupons!

Hi Tiffany, great to have you with us. The customer service desk at Stater Bros will provide you with a Upromise/Stater Bros loyalty card. And once you register that at Upromise.com, when you purchase eligible items, the college savings will ultimately show up in your Upromise account. You’ll find a list of participating products, as well as information on our eCoupons program, here:

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
