twilightDo I have any Twilight fans out there? Don’t be afraid to step forward – I know there’s more than a few of you.

I really wish I could give you my opinion on this series, but *gasp* I haven’t read any of the books yet! Arianne and Colleen are constantly telling me that I need to read them, and I’m pretty sure I’ll enjoy them since I’ve read every single one of Anne Rice’s books! I just don’t have much time for reading these days. However, I’m actually planning to pick up at least the first two in the series to read on the flight to South by Southwest this Friday.

Anyhow, Twilight fans, are you anxiously awaiting the release of the Twilight movie on DVD? I’ve got a little something that will help you pass the time!

    I’ve read 3 of the books so far and I love them! Apparently so does my foreign exchange partner. I let her read my copy of Twilight but she wasn’t able to read the second one before she had to go back. I was hoping to get a chance to win this for her so she could read the others in English and have the DVD (she loved the movie too!). ^_^ my favorite character is Alice haha

    I never read the book or saw the movie but my granddaughter told me I had to say Alice is her favorite all the way. Ok Alice it is. Now if I win she wins. Thank you!

    I am glad you decided to try the books. I am in my 40s and I, along with most of my friends have read the series – some twice. I even got my mom to read them. There is no age limit to the enjoyment; they are wonderful! My favorite character has to be Edward. Although, I love Bella and Alice also. I read the books before the movie came out, and I had a totally different Edward in my head. I really like mine better. I teach 6th grade reading and love hearing all of the thoughts from that age level also.

    I wish I was 16 again so that I could think that a boy could wisper Shakespear into my ear…I think its in the beginning of New Moon. Now romance is folded laundry and clean dishes…put up in the cabinet ~sigh~

    My favorite character from the book was Jacob. I think for me the books are better than the movie.
