I’ve noticed the generic brand is cheaper and works the same as the name brand.

Instead of buying the expensive wipes for the Swiffer- buy low pile fleece material from your fabric store. Cut it it retangles to fit the Swiffer. Works just as good if not better, and you can throw them in the washer and dryer. Never buy the refills again!!
