Target: Print your Coupons In Store

Have you ever gone to Target and realized you left your Target store coupons at home?

Or maybe you’ve found an item that would be a great price with that coupon you saw online but you don’t have any with you.

You can actually print Target store coupons right at the kiosks near the customer service counters in every store. I shared this tip when I did the $50 Target Shopping Challenge for NBC back in December, but I don’t think I actually ever posted the video for everyone to watch!

Thanks to Joe for emailing me to remind me of this great tip. He gave some pretty great reasons why this is a benefit everyone should know about.

  • It saves you ink and paper.
  • If you forget your coupons, you can still get them at the store.
  • They’re bigger in size – sometimes the ones you print off your home computer don’t work.

However, if you do want to print your coupons before going to the store, the Target coupon generator at A Full Cup is my favorite resource for printing multiples on one page!

Hear via Twitter. I never knew that. What a great tip. I often forget coupons in the car or back home.

A Full Cup link didn’t work for me, BTW.

Feener, I don’t have a Target credit card, so I’m really not sure. I do get coupons in the mail from time to time, but I’m not sure how I got on their mailing list. I supposed it’s possible that it’s because I’ve purchased online from Target.com in the past.

Thanks for letting me know, Kim. I think it must be down at the moment, so definitely check back later if you use Target store coupons often.

Tara this is an amazing tip. Do you pick and choose coupons (if you remember what you forgot) or is it like CVS and a random one prints out? Very good info to know. Thanks! Colleen :)

Nope, you can pick and choose. Basically it’s like getting on their website in the stores and printing them out. I’ve found it to be a great convenience when I’ve found items on clearance that I recall seeing a store coupon for!

I’ve got a question about printable coupons. When I first started learning about how to “really” coupon back in January this was not an issue, but recently has started becoming one. Sometimes when I print my coupons (coupons.com, bricks, Target, smartsource.com) they will scan when I try to use them and sometimes they won’t. Recently, I have had Walmart, Target and 2 different Walgreens refuse to take my coupons because they would not scan. In other words they will not enter them manually. Target would not even take their own coupons that you have referred to in this post. Are any of you running into this and is it a problem with the resolution setting on my printer and if so, how do I fix it? The other thing is that I will sometimes have 2 coupons for the same item (because we can print 2) and one will scan and the other one won’t. Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

Is anyone running into this with their coupons? I have had several instances recently where my printable coupons (coupons.com, bricks, target, smartsource) would not scan when I tried to use them. The store (Walmart, Target, 2 different Walgreens) would not take them. In other words, they would not enter them manually. With the above info. this will take care of the Target coupon issue, but does not help me with manuf. coupons I want to use there. Is the resolution on my printer not set correctly? If so, how do I fix it? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Is anyone running into this? I have had several instances lately where my printable coupons would not scan when I tried to use them (Walmart, Target, 2 different Walgreens) and they refused to honor them. In other words, they would not enter them manually. The info. on this post will alleviate the issue with Target coupons, but I still have an issue with manufacturer printables. Does my printer resolution need to be adjusted and if so, how do I do that? Any feedback on this would be appreciated.

That’s a really good question, Stephanie. Are you referring to Bricks or Coupons.com printables not scanning? If you can provide a little more info, I’ll see what I can find out.

Sorry, Stephanie. It looks like several comments got stuck in my spam. I’d say it sounds like maybe the print heads need cleaned on your printer. If they used to work and you’re just now recently having problems, that definitely could be the culprit. Hope it helps!

I am kinda new to the whole printable coupons. Today i printed some Target coupons and some manufacturer’s coupons and the cashier would not let me use any of them. The head cashier came over and told me that Target no longer accepts any printable coupons because of the fraud that is going on. Is this true?

    Thanks!

Nancy, I have a copy of their corporate coupon policy posted, and it doesn’t really address printables. The stores around here have always accepted them with no issues. They wouldn’t even accept their own Target.com coupons? That seems really odd.

Thanks, what do you recommend that i do? I’m assuming if corporate doesn’t say anything about printable coupons then it should be ok to use. I’m planning on calling Target tomorrow. I’ll let you know what they tell me.

Target’s new coupon policy no longer allows you to print coupons from the store kiosk!
