Thanks to Sara (who lives in my neck of the woods) for writing in to share these fabulous deals she found at Target today. It’s definitely not too early to be thinking Christmas!

LeapFrog Tag Reading System, $24.98 (clearance)
$10/1 LeapFrog Tag Reading System printable (PDF)
$14.98 after coupon!

Hasbro Hungry Hippos or Connect Four (travel size), $4.99
$4/1 Hasbro printables
$0.99 after coupon!

Any other suggestions for maximizing these Hasbro coupons?

Here in Atlanta I have found them for $34, but still a great deal after coupon!

Also, V-tech motion games (Thomas) for $6 something (75% off).

We received our ABC Animal Orchestra Board Book in the mail last week. It’s a really cute book and it will be either a stocking stuffer for my 3 yr old or a “sister gift” (I normally pick up inexpensive items for my daughters to give each other every year and that’s what they call it) . If it is a “sister gift” my 8 year old already said she wants it to be her gift to our youngest one.

Could any of these possibly be stacked with the recent $5/1 Hasbro game Target Q’s that just recently came out?

I received an email from Target with a link to Spongebob coupons. One coupon was for a Spongebob Connect 4 game. I would think you could stack with Hasbro Connect 4 coupon.

Almost bought the Tag at Target today when I saw it on clearance. Glad I didn’t- I’ll have to go back now with the coupon for an even better deal.

Don’t know if you can stack, but Target had sent a home mailer out to be delivered between August 5-8 that had a coupon for 5$ off the TAG system…think it is a store coupon, so should be able to stack! :)

I was just at a Target last night and they didn’t have any of the Tag systems on sale. I was doing some research for birthday and Christmas and then saw this post. Guess I’ll have to go check out some other stores. Good deal!

Can’t wait to stock up on some Hasbro games! The travel games are nice for, well, travel! But I’ll probably stack the Hasbro manuf. coupons and target coupons to buy the full-sized games.

Hey, I wanted to clarify the leap frog tag deal for those that are having trouble. There is a new version of the tag reader – it comes with cat in the hat and can hold up to 10 books. The previous version, the one that is clearanced, can hold 5 books and comes with a different book (I think it’s a generic tag book). It is in the toy clearance section of the store, usually an end, and probably not by the other tag products. The one that is $50 is the new one. Hope this helps!!

also the coupon is NOT good for Connect 4. It’s for a new game Connect 4×4. two totally different products.

Use the target $1 off colgate sponge bob toothpaste coupon on the trial size to get it free. (maybe overage if you get a nice cashier.)

Tag isn’t on sale at my target. bummer! :(

I actually found the Tag system 75% off of the 49.99 at 12.48. After the coupon, it was only $2.48!! What a steal!

I got the Tag for $14.98 thanks!! I also found one of the Tag books on clearance for $6.98 and they let me use the $5 off Tag book that was next to this coupon on the print out! So I only paid $1.98!!

I was bummed that my Target does not carry any travel size games. The Disney Princess Wii game was $20 at my Target.

I encourage you guys to try scanning the Tag system though mine was marked $34.98 but rang up $24.98!

The TAG that is on clearance will most likely be the one that holds only 5 books, the new one on the Leapfrog site holds up to 10 on it! Just an FYI! I may have to pick up one just to fit all the books for my two girls! Great deal though!

my target doesnt carry any travel size games either. As for the sponge bob toothpaste deal–I tried to use it on the travel size and at first the check out girl said no, but then I asked her what if I got 2 of them (they were $.52 each) and she said she guessed that would be ok. So I paid $.02 for 2 of the sponge bob travel toothpastes. but only after getting a stern warning that they wouldnt let me do it again–my target is a real pain in the butt about coupons. they’ve never let me use the nexcare coupons and begrudgingly let me use the tide and all coupons on travel sizes but each time it becomes a bigger and bigger hassel to deal with them.

To Abby. The $5 Wii game Q is in Target home mailer (PREP 4 LESS) . The Disney Princess game(and some other games) was on sale at Leesburg FL Target.
    Good luck!!

clearance TAG systems were tucked in an aisle, rather than end cap, at my Target…probably had 20 of them…Double check the ones in the regular price section too…the ones in clearance marked down had the same book as the ones in the regular price section, but the number of books it can hold might be the difference. Also, look on the little side hanging racks for the travel games. I didn’t even attempt the coupon, as it is for a new game, the Connect 4×4.

I couldn’t find any travel size games at Target or Walmart. And my target didn’t have any Tags on clearance :( I will keep looking, so hopefully I can get a good deal.

I went out to Target to get the travel game (hungry hippos) here in So Cal and they would not let me use the coupon for it. The register wouldn’t take it and then the mngr came over and said it was not one of the examples pictured and was meant for full size games. bummer since we were excited!

Nicole–Ditto for me on the Target/HH Hippos. They actually called multiple sales persons over for a confab and decided the HHH pic on the printed coupon didn’t look like the travel size HHH. Sheesh! Even though I pointed out there is no size mentioned on the coupon, I was still Typhoid Mary and no way, no how. Some Target stores are better than others–they act like the coupon $$ are coming out of their paychecks…

I went to two different Targets and didn’t find any travel games. :( I was hoping to get some for my nephew for his birthday. Walmarts don’t even have travel games anymore.

Cheryl, you may be able to find them online, but you wouldn’t be able to use a printable coupon on them.

I didn’t see any Tag Reading Systems marked on clearance, but I did notice that some of the TAG boxes marked $49.99 had “new” written on the front and some of the others didn’t. I price-checked one of the boxes not marked new and it scanned at $24.98! These boxes are the older model that hold 5 books in the pen, unlike the newer model that hold 10 books.

Also, Air Wick i-Motion Freshmatic Ultra air fresheners are still ringing at $5.99! This is an unadvertised deal still active from last week. I had a raincheck for them and went to redeem it, but found out that the system wouldn’t take the raincheck because they were still ringing at the sale price. Woohoo!

I am going to look at Family Dollar or Dollar General, they usually carry travel size games for $4 or $5. I know they take coupons, but I don;t know about if they will take printable coupons. I went to a differant walmart today, and still didn’t see any travel games.

I’m so excited – I bought a few Tag systems on clearance last week (one for my daughter + extras for birthday and Christmas presents), and we also just received our free Tag Junior ABC Animal Orchestra boardbook in the mail! I can’t wait to try it out with my daughter! Thanks so much for everything you post on this blog!
