My first stop this week was Target, where I stocked up on Revlon nail files and Zyrtec (finally, yay!).
I’m not really sure how their registers are programmed these days. The Revlon Target coupons adjusted down to the selling price, but on the Zyrtec, I was given the overage on the manufacturer’s coupons. Not complaining at all since it helped reduce the price of the TP that was already a good deal!

My total spent for this trip was $4.85, a savings of $28.59.
Plus I received these two awesome Catalinas that I can use on a future purchase.
They’re manufacturer’s coupons, so I can stack them with some of the Target store coupons that I still have to save even more!
My next stop was Kroger to see if I could get more of the cheap Santa Cruz organic juice, as well as to get milk. Unfortunately, our store was out of the private label organic milk, so I had to purchase Horizon organic milk at $6.79 a gallon — ouch!

My total spent for this trip was $24.01, a savings of $14.07.
Finally, I had to send my husband back to Kroger yesterday to get more milk and bread, both of which we have been going through like crazy lately, and I had him pick up a few other items for me.

I never did make it to Sam’s Club last week like I wanted to, but we’ll be going in the next few days. I’m well under budget for the past few weeks, so I’ll be able to stock up on plenty of meat and produce!

The reduced sugar Smuckers is VERY good – you should get that instead. There are no artificial sweeteners in it. Then, if you have time you should try freezer jam – so easy and so good and not too much sugar (use the Ball pectin that comes in a green envelope). The reduced sugar smuckers is a pretty good alternative to the homemade freezer jam!

I actually bought the gelatin on the last trip so I can try making some homemade sugar-free grape jelly, and I have some pectin for freezer jam too. Just waiting for a stellar deal on strawberries!

I like to get the smuckers that is sweetened with fruit juice. My little girl was on a pb&j kick so we also got natural peanut butter. A little more, but in my opinion worth it.

These posts are so helpful, but how in the world do you get access to so many of the same coupon? (Ex: how many coupons for the Santa Cruz juice do you have and how did you get them). I usually only get 1 set of coupons from my Sunday paper along with whatever I can print online.

In the case of the Santa Cruz coupon, it’s a printable coupon and doesn’t seem to have a print limit on it. Most printable coupons only allow two prints per coupon, but I have access to three computers that I can print from.
As for the Sunday insert coupons, you can often purchase additional coupons on eBay or from coupon clipping services. You can find a list here: https://coupondatabase.dealseekingmom.com/buy-more-coupons

that would be a total of $8.58 for the 4 of them, then subtract the (4) .75/1 coupons and that would make them $5.58 altogether, or $1.39 each. How did you get .65 cents each out of this equation?

Hi Debra! Kroger stores in my area double coupons up to $0.99, so each coupon would actually deduct $1.50.

This is pretty incredible stuff. Another way to save money is to use credit cards that offer rewards. I have trouble keeping track of that stuff, so I use an app called, Smorecard, it tells me which of my credit cards is good to use in any given situation. Check it out… smorecard.
