Target: FREE Pantene Holiday Gift Sets

October 27, 2011 by Deal Seeking Mom 17 Comments

Many Target stores have the new Pantene Holiday Gift sets on sale right now for $9.99. The gift sets includes a bottle of shampoo, conditioner, color treatment, and a card to get a free subscription to Allure Magazine.

However, if you don’t want the magazine subscription, you can request a cash refund for the value of the subscription, which is $12. So the Pantene Holiday Gifts Sets end up being totally FREE plus overages!

Here’s a great deal scenario for you to try:

Pantene Gift Set, $9.99
Pantene Hair Care Product
$1/2 Pantene Target coupon (RP 9/25/11)
$3/2 Pantene coupon, exp. 10/31/11 (RP 9/25/11)
Send in your $12 mail in rebate
As low as FREE plus overages wyb 2 after coupons and rebate!

(Thanks, Common Sense With Money!)

Thanks! So do you tell them at the register or take it to customer service after the sale?

If it’s anything like I’ve done before, it’s a postcard that you send in to receive the subscription, in small print at the bottom it has an address where you send the postcard to if you wish to opt out of the subscription and get the rebate instead. Can anyone confirm this is how it works?

I found 2.00 peelies on the large size Pantene at my Target and they are good on stylers so I used my 3.00/2 and 2.00 peelie last week and got 20 free styling products.

If you did the other Allure magazine offers (Febreeze or Olay/Venus holiday gift sets), can you still do this one or is it all considered the same deal?

I am wondering the same thing. If this offer says it is for a $12 rebate, it could be a separate offer. The other offers were for $9.99 rebate. Even if you don’t do the rebate,, the mags are almost as good with the coupons you find inside!

Oh forgot to mention! This could count toward the $10 P&G pink rebate too! That ends 10/31!

Be careful with these! I am not certain about this particular basket, but a few weeks ago, walmart.com had a similar product. When I got the product, I took out the card and it said that it expired just a few days before I received it. Therefore, I couldn’t get the rebate.

I just got the Walmart one yesterday. The card didn’t have an expiration date, but the refund form said it was good from 12/10 to 6/12. I too am wondering if I can still do the Pantene one if I did the Olay one?

I’m wondering the same thing. I just sent in my rebate offer for the Olay gift basket from Walmart last week.

This deal and the man Q are wyb 2, but the $12 rebate is one per household, right? So am I correct in saying the second $12 rebate for the second basket purchased must be sent to a different address and name, right? It is a good thing they take photocopies of the receipt.

I’m confused because in the grey fine print in the link which tells you how to get the refund it also says only one subscription per household. So how would you get a refund on two? Has this worked for anyone?
