    Michelle-
Where did you find the Target Ensembles coupon. Was it in an insert or online?

Hi! Just wanted to ask you Target shoppers if you ever had a problem with Target coupons as far as them wanting you to only use their coupons for the specific product PICTURED on the coupon.
Ex: I had a problem with the Gerber baby bottles because the item pictured on the coupon was a set of knife, spoon and fork.
Even though the coupon did not specify what product you could use it with. It just said “Gerber feeding accessories”.
I called Target Corp and they said that is the BRAND that counts, and not the picture, but the store manager for the Target i go to, did not let me use the coupon anyway. And Target Corp did not send me in writing that, just the general coupon policy…..

Anna, you should call Target corp., get a reference number of your call, and have the manager call them when you’re at the store.

    Good luck!

    Colgate Total toothpaste is $2.49
there was $1.00 off manufac. coupon in smart source insert 9/13
as well as $1.00 off target coupon in same newspaper, would make the toothpaste $.49 after coupons.

Cheri~ You should still be able to do the deal because the manufacter coupon only says frozen product, but you would probably be safer getting pancakes to match witht the target coupon….unless your just bummed because you like waffles better. :)

How about doing the Eggo deal for the fuel for school $10 rebate that was in the same 8-2 flyer? That should be a $5 money making deal!

Ok, so I had a new Target problem. I bought the 5 Kashi Honey Sunshine cereals with the $1.50 off coupons. I used my EBT card and because they put a gift card on the transaction I had to cover the $5 out of pocket. EBT saw the $5 gift card as a non food item purchase. This is not good when you budget all your food $ coming out of EBT and not out of pocket. I will however save the $5 gift card to use on the next gift card deal that way I won’t have to use $5 out of pocket after having spent the gift card on a Target purchase…. Just an FYI.

I have 2 free boxes of Sunshine cereals…I wonder if that will count as 2 towards my 5 I have to buy? Hmmm…That would be a decent deal. Tara…What do you think? LOL

Yep, they should count! The gift card is triggered by the price before coupons.

    Hey Kat,
Thats weird that you couldn’t pay with your EBT card. I used my EBT card last week on the Fiber 1 deal and had no problems. It’s not as if your purchasing the gift card your purchasing the cereal.
I dont know if this was posted before but target will not allow you to price match something and use coupons. A employee, a manager, and the target rep i spoke to on the phone told mem this.
I still did the kashi deal though. I got 4 boxes of cereal, 1 box of tlc snacks. 2 Market Pantry Cheese sticks for 1.40 Out of pocket, plus a $5 gift card.
My total was 15.20.I used 1 $2.00 off Kashi Sunshine Cereal (this came in the mail with my kashi sample) 4 $1.50 off Kashi Cereal or TLC snack printables and 1 $1/2 Target Market Pantry Cheese Printable. That brang my total down to 6.40, I used my target gift card from the fiber one deals last week and paid $1.40 cash.

I had the same problem regarding the EBT they told me I was exempt from receiving it because i was using EBT. I called corporate and they told me that was completely inaccurate they sent me the gift card plus an additional $5 for my trouble. There is a way around it however a manager has to do it.

I used the q for buy a scrubbing bubbles product get the toliet wand 2-in-1 for free. And I paired it the $2.50 off of Shout Target q with the purchase of windex and scrubbing bubbles.

So I got Multi Surface Windex for $2.49 then a $1/1 coupon, Scrubbing Bubbles $3.49 and a $1/1 q and then I got the $2.50 off of Shout. So I got all three for $4.03.

I used the Target Colgate sensite for a regular toothpaste paired with a MFR and no problems.
