Grateful Giveaways #7: Knork Flatware + Serving Set

Next up, an interesting take on classic flatware. We’ve all heard of a spork, but what about a…knork?

Mike Miller first thought of the idea while eating pizza with a group of friends. Trying to eat pizza with a normal fork, he realized what a struggle it was and how uncomfortable it felt. The challenge of neatly slicing pizza in a manner capable of impressing girls was what led Mike to conceptualize the Knork. Mike’s first step was establishing parent company Phantom Enterprises in October 2000. He then pursued a patent by researching and developing a prototype. Using one of his mother’s forks as a base, he used Bondo, a car modeling compound, to create a model. Today, the Knork is properly patented, produced and marketed and is on the ‘cutting edge’!
