And now for the list of coupons in the September issue:
Do know of any good match-ups with these coupons?

I’m sure many of you moms can relate to having picky eaters in your family, and my family is no exception. I happen to LOVE sweet potatoes, but my husband doesn’t really care for them. My 8-year-old son doesn’t like French fries (gasp!), but both of them loved this simple and relatively healthy side dish I made last night using Morton’s Season-All that I picked up for a mere $0.26 at Kroger with this $0.55/1 Morton Season-All printable coupon!
All it requires is three ingredients: sweet potatoes, oil, and Morton Season-All:

Slice up your sweet potatoes into pieces about 1/4″ thick. Am I just a weakling, or are these things darn hard to slice? We were in a hurry to get dinner finished up before a football scrimmage, and I had to call in my husband’s help for the slicing.

Toss your sweet potatoes with the oil and seasoned salt, and then spread them out in a single layer on baking pans.

Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes at 450 degrees, turning with a spatula about halfway through. Sweet potatoes don’t crisp up like regular potatoes, so watch for them to have just a little browning.

And voila — a super easy (and inexpensive) side dish to add to a variety of meals!
Ingredients:
3 large sweet potatoes
2 T. olive oil
1 T. Morton Season-All
Directions:
1. Cut each sweet potato into slices about 1/4″ thick.
2. Toss the sweet potato slices with the oil and Morton Season-All.
3. Spread out on baking sheets in a single layer.
4. Bake at 450 degrees for about 25-30 minutes, turning with a spatula as needed.
These were so good that I found myself going back for more, and they were just as good cold when I dipped into them again later in the evening, LOL.
Morton provided me with the means to purchase Morton Season-All Salt via Collective Bias. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own!

There are three new Chi-Chi’s Product printable coupons available this morning:
You know, I really miss the Chi-Chi’s restaurants. My husband and I ate there frequently when we were dating. I loved their corn cake and fresh salsa! I’ve come close to their salsa recipe at home, but now I’m inspired to hunt down a recipe for the corn cake…
Here is a preview of the coupons in this week’s newspaper insert. They’ve all been added to the Deal Seeking Mom Coupon Database as well!
Submit regional coupons to the database for a chance to win a $25 Amazon GC!
