This same deal is also going on at Giant Food (Virginia) which is in the same chain as Stop & Shop.

Am I missing something? 3/$6 is $2.00 each. $1.50 off is .50 cents per box, unless I’m missing something?

    I’m sorry — that was a typo. They’re 4/$6.

I just printed out the coupons for the Cheerios and they say do not double or triple! Don’t know if there are other coupons you could use instead

Julie, it’s up to the stores whether or not to triple because they’re providing the additional discount, not the manufacturer. The doubling is automatic in most cases, so you should not have a problem.

I find that Stop and Shop will double coupons that say DND out of a “courtesy”…I love it because all the other stores I shop have been cracking down of their doubling and over riding the register if the coupon states DND. I have done this deal once and heading out to to it again !!!

I did this deal yesterday at Stop and Shop and the coupons doubled. The only time my coupons have not doubled is when the coupon is from Stop and Shop.

Just did this. The coupons automatically doubled, but the cashier manually overrode to DELETE the doubles :(

All because of the DND emblazoned boldly across the top. I even nicely told him that it is the STORE that doubles and doesn’t affect the manufacturer; that it’s a store coutesy. No dice. Whatever. Gonna go to a different store.

Jess – same thing happened to me yesterday. Could we have been at the same S&S? Anyway, I told them to that I did not wish to purchase the items and left.
