Lucinda sent me a message on Facebook letting me know that Treat Receipts are back at Starbucks. Sure enough, I got a Treat Receipt stamp when I grabbed a latte on the way to my girls’ gymnastics classes today.
Basically you’ll get your receipt stamped when you make a purchase before 2:00 p.m. that will allow you to purchase a grande cold drink for just $2 after 2:00 p.m. the same day. So in theory you could meet a friend, say, around 1:50 p.m., purchase one drink, and then wait ten minutes to purchase a second cold drink at about half price. Works for me!
