My Staples in southern IN refused to take my coupon because it would be free for the highlighters! Drove clear across town and walked out empty handed, even after asking at customer service. Assistant manager thought it seemed fine unless the “Not to be used with any other offer” included an item being on sale. I used the, but you get reimbursed for the coupon, right? logic. He called the next person up the chain of command who promptly told him no. Does anyone have a Staples written coupon policy?

I am so sorry for you – that sucks!
I went today and I had to pay the tax on mine but she had to manually enter the coupon and had to call the manager over to do it too but it worked fine for me!

I tried to use the $1/2 Bic printable coupon for the highlighters but it would not go through. The cashier tried to put it through several times and eventually called someone over who said that it would not go through because on the coupon it said “not to be used with any other offers”. I also left them and walked out the store empty handed.

wow, looks like i was not the only one having this problem! i tried to use the coupon today too and they told me the same thing…that it cannot be used with any other offers and because the 50 cent highlighters were a special promotion (regularly priced at $2.99), they couldn’t put it through BUT if i buy something else, they could deduct the coupon. it absolutely made no sense and i kept my ground. told them that’s fine, i’ll just go to the other staples AND call corporate to ask about this so called policy as well. that’s when the manager pretended to re-read the coupon over again carefully and then he manually adjusted the coupon and i was able to walk out of there with my 2 free packs of highlighters!

The company is fairly new in the hosting arena and is based in Northern UK.

You can save as much as $15 per domain name
registration by shopping around. Keep all these things in
mind when you prepare to make domain name purchases, and you will be
well on your way to having your web site live in no time.
