Office Depot: Brother Laser Printer As Low As $44.28 Shipped

August 22, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 8 Comments

If you’re looking for a fantastic deal on a laser printer, look no further than Office Depot this week. You can get a Brother Laser Printer that normally retails for $119.99 shipped to your door for as low as just $44.28 when you shop through Ebates!

How to get this deal:

  • Register with Ebates or sign in.
  • Search for Office Depot, and click on the link so you receive credit for shopping through Ebates.
  • Add Brother Laser Printer item #674670 to your cart.
  • Add Office Depot Pink Eraser item #724936 to your cart (to qualify for FREE shipping).
  • Your total due will be $50.28 plus tax where applicable.
  • You’ll receive a credit within 30 days for your 2% Ebates cashback. Plus if you’re a new Ebates member, you’ll receive a $5 sign-up bonus!

Laser printers typically use far less ink than inkjet printers, so this is a great investment if you print often (coupons anyone?). I pay close to this just for ink catridges when I need to refill my printer, so I’m considering purchasing it as a second printer.

Thanks, Southern Savers!

Does anyone happen to know the approximate cost for toner replacement? Considering this for a second printer too!

Try searching the model # on Ebay or Amazon. You can usually get really good deals on new ink and toner cartridges. Or you can save even more if you opt for the recycled/refilled ones. They work just as well and are a lot cheaper!

My husband bought this printer for me last christmas. I think it is the best investment we ever made! I print so many coupons everyday and for everyday printing projects and we are still on the original starter print cartridge (8 months)! There are things you can do to over ride the “low toner” error to make it last longer. I HIGHLY recommend this printer to anyone that prints coupons as cheap as possible. This printer has definitely paid for itself!

This is by far the BEST printer I have ever owned! I recently got my replacement toner from meritline for around $30 (keep an eye out there for good deals on toner for this printer as they often run $18 deals for them). My children are homeschooled so I use this printer ALOT. Still on my starter toner and have printed over 1500 pages. If you miss out on the above deal, no worries….Staples puts the printer on sale quite often for $49.98 with free shipping (that’s new, not refurbished). If you want the upgrade version that offers wi-fi, duplexing and more…..Staples also puts them on sale with $50 back when you bring in your used printer for trade in!

I’m hoping to find a great deal on a color laser printer. My husband needs one for our business and he asked me to search out a great price. I got excited about this one until I realized it doesn’t print color. I’m wondering Melissa if the printer you are talking about prints color and how often that sale happens. I have an ink jet printer I bought at a garage sale for $1 that doesn’t work and I’d be happy to trade it in for a discount!!! If the printer does print color, can you tell me exactly which one it is please? Thanks so much! :D

I have a question to those of you who use this printer to print coupons. Have you had any difficulty having those coupons accepted? Since it is a monochrome printer and not a color printer, I could see my more difficult cashiers accusing me of copying a coupon. So what has your experience been? Thanks for your input (it seems to be a great deal).

      Michelle,

I only have a B&W printer and I’ve never had any problem with cashiers over the lack of color. I did have one pita cashier once but her accusing me of copying was quickly solved when I pointed out that each coupon I had was a unique bar code so there’s no way I copied it. That’s the only time I had that problem and it was because I had 6 coupons for the same identical items. I wouldn’t worry about the color / monochrome being a problem. I’ve often seen color coupons and I just can’t see paying the extra for the color ink to print it out. Good luck with your decision. :D

I have never had a problem using my B&W printed coupons either. Good luck!
